Top 500

"What's your innate ability?" Travis asked, this is what will take or save this person's life.

"My innate ability is a simple zoom with my eyes sir! BUT MY God's gift lets me strengthen my allies for a total of 30 minutes per use!"

Travis thought about it for a second before letting Mira place the tape on the man's mouth again. "I'll consider it, NEXT!"

He would go on to ask the same question to the rest of them. Not satisfied with any of their abilities, he didn't think that any of them were worthy of being recruited through his gift. Before checking out the rewards he got through the system, he asked about the looted items from the decimated foes but most of their items were garbage that seemed unusable. Aside from 4 Territory Claim Tickets and 15 Temporary portal scrolls the Pirate didn't give him anything of much use. Though Noah and Mogbean were happy to take the metal scraps and materials from the ships.

As a sort of announcement that he won the fight, Travis would send a message to the group chat.

Master of Otherworlders (Top 321): Please let this be a warning, These waters are under my command. No visitors allowed.

His rank now is one space higher than the rank of the Pirate Captain. Anyone who knew the context of the fight between the two could tell that he won. In the top 10,000 group chat anyone in the top 500 is considered a respectable figure, to not only beat one but outright replace one Travis made a name for himself.

[The following items will be rewarded to the user upon pressing this notification: Territory Claim Ticket 10x, Internal Energy Pill 30x, Portal Scroll (Temporary) 10x, Portal Scroll (Permanent) 1x]

The rewards from the top 1,000 were there but under it were the rewards for reaching the top 500.

[Territory Claim Ticket 15x, Internal Energy Pill 30x, Instant Martial Book Ticket 5x, Magical Weapon Ticket 5x, Portal Scroll (Temporary) 10x, Portal Scroll (Permanent) 1x]

With all of the rewards that he just gained, Travis gained enough resources to advance his training in Ki. Sixty total pills and 5 martial books, these are tools that can let him expedite his way into Gold-grade. While others might use these resources on their companions, Travis valued himself and his own growth just a bit more.

Two Permanent Portal Scrolls, Forty-Two Temporary Portal Scrolls, Sixty Internal Energy Pills, Thirty-three Territory Claim Tickets, Five Instant Martial Books and Five Magical Weapon Tickets.

These were the items that he had that were all related to the system. The portals and pills were resources that he considered to be unsellable, since their usage was not lost on him. The weapon tickets and martial books could be used by him or any of his mercenaries, he could use them as rewards for when they did something favorable.

Which then left him with the territory claim tickets, they seem to trade for quite a lot of resources in the trade chat. A single one was priced at 100,000 credits or 70,000 Imperial Coins, it seems that they are a resource that's necessary for the growth of a group. "Even that Trinoma Gacha person probably hasn't sold off his own territory claim tickets, because if he did then he wouldn't be selling the blueprints for chump change."

"I'll sell three, two for credits and the last one for Imperial coins... those will be necessary for trading with the Murim folk. I'll keep the others protected here at the base, no wait... my first territory was decimated in the city of Lindburg. I really need a similar unit to Vantak soon, anyone that can produce soldiers. Expanding the territory, maybe even to other realms... How fun!" Travis now understood the thought process of these invaders, gaining a new territory with the use of these items seemed like a nice thing to spend his time on.

"But for now, the focus is on building everyone up. There's also this notification that I haven't opened yet regarding the win from earlier."

[Congratulations on successfully defending your Territory from a large number of foes, the following rewards are available: Strengthening Statue Blueprint, Warrior Training Center Blueprint]

"I'll be having those." The strengthening statue provided a boon for everyone much like the other statues, while the warrior training center was a building that required an Elite Silver-grade martial artist or higher to teach the "commoners" of his territory. While it wasn't an amazing building since the number of recruits he had only increased by one every week, it was still great for giving his units more options in combat. Especially those in the Bronze-grade.

Noah was once again handed the blueprints, the first time around he had to organize it all on his own. This time, he had the help of Mogbean which should let him handle things with less stress overall.

"With my messages in the chat and the fight we had today, it is likely that our region will be targeted in the future. The territory has made portals from other people obsolete but with how things are right now, I can't guarantee my own safety at all. We were right to build power but I was stupid... It was stupid of me to announce myself in the chat. Vantak and Hamak will be continuing on their mission in the city of Lindburg." Travis smiled before continuing. "The rest of us will be staying in the island, I want stricter patrols... I'll be taking my time in absorbing these new pills. Hopefully by the end of the week this will be enough for me to reach Gold-grade."

While he did lay out those plans for the next week or so, Travis knew that this fight was only the beginning. But for now a small celebration was in order, trading a few hundred credits in the tab bought them a feast and a few cold packs of beer. The former construction worker was now ranked as one of the strongest in the world.
