The Unexpected Visitor

After Antonio finished eating his cotton candy, he asked Yuji if he needed help in searching for his brother but Yuji said that he already knows where his brother is.

After that, Yuji gave his number to Antonio before leaving the area to go to wherever his brother was.

Right now, Mikhall and Antonio are strolling inside the park and they decided to visit some booths.

Just as they were about to enter one of the booths, Mikhall's phone rang causing the two young men to stop walking.

"It's Dad."

Mikhall said as he pressed the answer button and after a while he looked at Antonio when the call ended.

"Let's head back now, Yoyo."

Antonio nodded his head and because he was used to clinging to his brother and father's arm these past few days, he subconsciously cling to Mikhall's arm this time.

Mikhall was surprised but he just let it be and started to enjoy the moment of Antonio touching him.

As they walked back toward the restaurant, he noticed that people kept glancing at their direction.

He can't help but want to hide Antonio away from those stares.

His heart throbbed as he remembered the conversation that happened in the restaurant a while ago.

He then opened his mouth to ask.

"Are you really planning to step into the entertainment world, Yoyo?"

"I'm not sure, but I'm considering that as one of my career options, Brother Mikey."

Antonio answered while glancing at his arms that were hugging Mikhall's arm.

He just realized now that he's been clinging to Mikhall, but instead of moving away, he just feigned innocence and continued to cling to the young man.

'It's more comfortable this way.'

He thought as he felt the warmness of Mikhall's body temperature.

Mikhall doesn't know how to feel upon hearing that answer.

All he knows is that, if Antonio will really become a star, he will make sure that he will become someone who is worthy of that star.

"Hmm? Dad?"

Mikhall raised his head and looked at the direction Antonio was staring.

In front of the entrance of the park, a black car has its back seat window down.

There, Mikhall can see Christopher staring at them with an unknown expression on his face.

Beside Christopher, Mikhall saw his father sitting while saying something to the driver.

"Uncle Rence is in there too."

Mikhall heard Antonio muttering beside him.

And as soon as they arrived outside the car, Christopher looked at Antonio's arms that were encircled around Mikhall's arm.

Then, the two young men heard Christopher asking.

"We're heading to our house, Yoyo … would you like to ride in this car with me or do you want to ride the car on the back together with Mikhall?"

Antonio is actually fine with anywhere, but as of now, he doesn't want to make Lawrence, who was already sitting beside his father, to get out of the car just for the reason that he could ride with his dad.

So, he just answered.

"I'll ride with Brother Mikey, Dad."

Christopher and Mikhall were both shocked by Antonio's answer.

They both assumed that Antonio would say that he wants to sit beside his dad.

They never expected that Antonio would choose someone he just met for a few hours over his father.

Even Lawrence, who was actually prepared to get out of the car, was surprised.

"Then, we'll see you Uncle Rence and Dad at the mansion … drive safe!"

Antonio said with a smile before heading to the car behind his father's car.

"We'll see you there, Dad and Uncle Chris."

Mikhall said with a slightly shocked look before walking to the car where Antonio went in.

Lawrence watched the dejected face of Christopher before shaking his head.

"Sometimes, if we love someone, we need to let them go for their own happiness."

Lawrence spoke in a very serious tone as he patted his friend's shoulder.

Christopher looked at him with a slightly annoyed face.

"Hehehe, just kidding! Don't be jealous of my son, it's not his fault that your adorable son chose him over you."

Lawrence said to tease Christopher.

Christopher just clicked his tongue and said as their car started to move.

"Yoyo seems to like your son very much."

"Well, my son also likes Yoyo … very much."

Lawrence replied with a small grin.

Then, he continued speaking in his thoughts.

'A different kind of like than what you're expecting, though.'

Meanwhile, inside the other car, Antonio stared at the face of their driver through the rear-view mirror.

"Butler Carlson?"

He called their driver who smiled at him through the rear-view mirror.

"Yes, Young Master?"

"Why are you here?"

Antonio asked, he is really curious on what their family butler is doing outside their house.

"Well, Master Christopher told me to come here and ensure that my two passengers will arrive at the Legaspi residence safe and sound."

Butler Carlson replied in a very professional way.

But the real reason is that they don't trust anyone yet to become Antonio's driver.

Among their family personnel, Butler Carlson is the one that Christopher trusted the most beside Dr. Lordan.

That's why Christopher decided to let Carlson drive for Antonio for the time being.

After all, both he and Alden already have a very loyal driver for them.

. . .

"Welcome back, sirs!"

The servants greeted them as soon as they arrived in the mansion.

Antonio, who always smiles at the servants whenever they greet him, didn't do that.

Instead, his face is frowning as he stares at the two unexpected guests they have.

'Ah, so this is the reason why Uncle Rence made an effort to come here.'

He said to himself internally.

He finally understood why Lawrence, the owner of the largest security agency in the whole world is here in their house.

Evilness is screaming from the woman's energy and a familiar hostility started boiling deep inside Antonio.

He doesn't know her but he felt like he had already encountered her before.

'What is she doing here?'

Antonio felt curious and wary of the woman's intentions.

"Hello Christopher, it's been a while."

A red-haired woman who looked like a model walked toward Christopher and was about to hug him but …

Bang.

Antonio stared as the vase behind the woman was shattered into tiny pieces.

Their servants, Butler Carlson, and Lawrence pointed their guns at the woman and her bodyguard.

The bodyguard of the woman pointed his gun toward Lawrence, who shot the vase behind her.

The woman flinched and turned her head to the people surrounding her.

"That's only a warning—if you don't step away from Chris, the next bullet will be going straight to your skull."

Lawrence said to the woman in a very icy tone.

His gentleness that he showed toward his son and Antonio was nowhere to be seen by now.

The only Lawrence in front of Antonio's eyes is a man who is shooting a deadly glare while pointing a gun at the woman before Christopher.

"There's no need for that … I was just here because I heard that Yoyo regained his consciousness and how heartless of you, Christopher, to not tell me about Antonio's whereabouts."

The woman said as her eyes turned to gaze at Antonio but before she could, Antonio's sight was blocked by a huge back that belonged to Mikhall.

Butler Carlson and other servants also positioned themselves to protect Antonio.

"Am I not allowed to see my best friend's son now?"

The woman chuckled while staring directly at Christopher's dark eyes and backing away.

"Best friend?"

Christopher said with his jaw clenched.

"Don't tell me you already forgot your late wife's best friend?"

The woman asked with a smirk and her eyebrow arching.

"Butler Carlson, escort her out of my residence."

Christopher instructed their family butler in a very firm voice.

"How mean … Well, I'm only here to say hello to Yoyo anyway."

The woman said with a playful smile on her lips.

She then allowed herself, together with her bodyguard, to be escorted by Butler Carlson and Lawrence outside the Legaspi residence.

But before she left, she made sure to give Antonio a very intense stare that made the latter feel nauseous.

"Yoyo?"

Mikhall called out to Antonio when he noticed that something was wrong.

Antonio is currently sweating excessively.

He is also panting very hard while clutching his head.

"Yoyo, what's wrong?"

Christopher said as he saw his son's pale face that was filled with sweats.

Antonio currently can't hear anything.

His head was ringing and he felt so dizzy.

He felt like his head was being bashed by a hammer.

"Ugh!"

It felt so painful that tears started falling down his face and consciousness started to leave him.

As Antonio's eyes closed and he became unconscious, his body stumbled forward and Mikhall immediately caught him.

'What's happening to Yoyo?'

Mikhall felt fearful as he tried to wipe the sweats and tears away from Antonio's face with trembling hands.

Christopher and the servants also panic when they see Antonio fainting all of a sudden.

"Call Dr. Lordan!"

Christopher immediately said as he went to Mikhall and took Antonio from the young man's hand.

He went to Antonio's room with servants and Mikhall following him.

He then laid Antonio on the bed and took the towel given to him by one of the servants.

He wiped the beads of sweat on Antonio's face.

"What happened, Mikhall?"

He asked the young man who was beside Antonio the whole time.

"I don't know, Uncle … somehow, after that woman stared at him, he suddenly staggered while sweating intensely and then fainted."

Mikhall answered with a very worried expression as he gazed at the pale complexion of Antonio.

. . .

Antonio looked around him and felt like he time-traveled to the past.

The familiar scene before him made his heart tremble.

"Is something the matter, Yoyo?"

Antonio looked behind him and saw a very familiar person sitting in one corner of the room.

She was an extremely beautiful woman with a black hair and brown eyes.

She was cuddling the seven year old Antonio, who was sitting on her lap.

Antonio stared at the woman and whispered to himself.

"Mom."

He saw the seven year old him shaking his head but fear was visible in his eyes as he looked warily at the woman sitting across from his mother.

"Don't be scared sweetie, this is Aunt Sabrina, your mom's best friend."

His mother, Antoinette, gently said as she introduced a red-haired woman that looked like a model as her friend to her son.

Sabrina smiled sweetly at the seven year old Antonio and stretched out her hand to caress his hair but before she could touch him, Antonio turned his face away from her.

"Ahhh, what's wrong, Yoyo? Sorry about that Sab, he's not usually like this around other people … I don't know what's happening with him."

Antoinette apologetically smiled at Sabrina.

"It's fine, he must be not feeling well right now."

Sabrina said with a forced smile.

Then, the scene before Antonio changed.

He is now standing in front of a door in the room.

The door was slightly opened, which made it easier for anyone to peek inside.

In front of Antonio, is a seven year old him, standing before the door and peeking on what's going on inside.

He tried to move his hands to cover his young self's eyes, but it was to no avail.

His body won't move and all he can do is watch everything that unfolds before him.

He saw the young Antonio flinching while peeking inside the room.

What the little child witnessed is how his mother was shot by a gun with a silencer by the one she introduced to her son as her best friend.

"NO!! MOMMM!!!"

The young Antonio shouted with tears flowing down his face as he pushed the door open.

He tried to run to where his mother's bloodied body was but Sabrina stopped him.

The red-haired woman hugged the child tightly and began to cry as well as she stared at her dead friend.

The little Antonio tried to get out from her embrace but his strength is nothing compared to the adult woman's strength.

"LET ME GO!! MOMMMM!!"

Little Antonio continued to shout.

"Oh, Antonio, my Antonio … your mother is already dead, how about I become your mother instead?"

Sabrina crazily said as she patted the young Antonio's back.

After a few minutes, Christopher arrived in the room because of Antonio's shout that was heard throughout the floor.

Behind Christopher, are bodyguards and a twelve year old Alden.

"W-what happened? A-antoinette?"

Christopher asked as soon as he saw his wife's body being full of blood.

He then gazed at his son who was being hugged by a woman that her wife said was her best friend.

"Sabrina, what happened here?"

However, instead of answering, Sabrina just continued to hug Antonio with her tears continuously flowing down her face.

Christopher glared at the woman and stretched out his hand to take Antonio.

However, Sabrina moved back and shouted hysterically.

"Get lost! Antonio is mine!!!"

Christopher, who hated the whole situation right now, can't control himself and took a gun from one of his bodyguards then shot Sabrina's shoulder, making her stagger and lose strength in her arms.

As soon as Christopher took his son, Antonio had already passed out from crying.

But even in his unconscious state, there's one statement that he continuously repeated.

"Everything isn't real … everything isn't real … everything isn't real …"

The young Antonio who lost consciousness kept muttering those words as tears kept flowing down his face.
