Chapter Sixty Five: Spending Time With Frederick

Vulcan's POV

"I didn't think you'd be this stupid. Now get out of my way."

This motherfucker really thinks I'll let her take my son. She tried to push past me, taking quick steps toward the stairs.

"Come back here," I grabbed her arm, spinning her around. "Not under my watch, not while I'm still breathing. Get out of here, Ariana, because you're not leaving with Frederick. Not today, not ever."

She clicked her teeth, clearly losing patience. "Prepare your lawyer, because I'm not going down without a fight. Frederick is my son!" She screamed, jabbing a finger in my face before storming out of the mansion.

Even though my head dropped, as if in defeat, I heard the soft padding of small footsteps behind me. A familiar voice followed.

"Dad, was that Mom? Is she back?"
