Curiosity Unbound

LUCAS P.O.V.

MY mind still reeling from the previous night's events, found myself standing outside Professor Thompson's office. I hesitated for a moment, steeling myself for the upcoming encounter, before taking a deep breath and knocking on the door.

"Come in," a cold, familiar voice echoed from inside. Lucas obeyed, stepping into Professor Thompson's office, his trepidation palpable.

I entered Professor Thompson's office, my footsteps quiet as if afraid to disturb the austere atmosphere. The room was adorned with a few photographs and a few framed diplomas, the dim light casting long shadows that seemed to dance along the walls. Professor Thompson sat behind his desk, his eyes fixed on me, studying me intently. His expression was stern, almost menacing, as he gestured for me to take a seat. "Have a seat, Mr. Miller," he said, his voice cool.

I complied, taking a seat across from professor Thompson. As I settled in, I couldn't help but feel a chill run down my spine. Professor Thompson unnerving grin widened as he stared at me, his pale eyes fixed on me with an unsettling intensity. "Now, Mr. Miller," he began, his voice smooth and cold. "I'm sure you're wondering why I called you here today."

I shifted uneasily in my seat, my mind racing as I tried to remember the previous night's events. I cleared my throat, attempting to formulate an explanation, but professor Thompson interrupted me. "Last night," professor Thompson started, his tone chilling. "You called me I'm the most creepy man you've ever met... why? Am I really that creepy to you?" He paused for effect, his smile widening assavoringring the suspense.

My mouth opened and closed wordlessly as I struggled to find a response. I was caught off guard by professor Thompson question and the sudden shift in the conversation's direction. The air in the room seemed to grow colder as I stammered, unable to give a coherent answer. Professor Thompson chuckled softly, leaning back in his chair, clearly enjoying the tension he had created. "No words, Mr. Miller?" he taunted, his eyes gleaming.

With a smooth motion, professor Thompson leaned forward, closing the distance between himself and me until our faces were only a few inches apart. His cold gaze never wavered, his eyes boring deep into my startled own. I felt a chill run down my spine as I struggled to maintain my composure under the intense scrutiny.

Professor Thompson slender fingers traced the outline of the mysterious bite mark on my neck, his touch surprisingly gentle and almost soothing. But despite the lightness of the touch, it sent a shiver down my spine, my body tensing involuntarily at the contact. Professor Thompson eyes remained fixated on the mark, his expression inscrutable.

I recoiled, my body jerking away from professor Thompson touch. I reached up and firmly pushed professor Thompson hand away from my neck, my eyes narrowing in defiance. "Don't touch me," I snapped, my voice trembling slightly with anger and fear. Professor Thompson withdrew his hand, a subtle sneer playing at the corners of his lips.

Despite my reaction, professor Thompson smile remained fixed firmly in place. His gaze locked on me, the coldness in his eyes unwavering while the corners of his mouth quirked upwards ever so slightly. I found myself increasingly unnerved by the Professor's unsettling demeanor, my own curiosity piqued as I attempted to discern what lay behind professor Thompson enigmatic smile and his true intentions for this meeting.

Professor Thompson leaned back in his chair, his smile growing wider. "Well, Mr. Miller, I think that'll be all for today," he said, his tone almost cheerful. "I trust you'll have a good day." The dismissal was clear and final, signalling the end of our encounter. As I stood there, I couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and unease, the unanswered questions about the previous night still lingering in my mind.

As professor Thompson casually dismissed me, I couldn't shake off the growing sense of curiosity about the professor. There was something about him that didn't quite add up, a veil of mystery shrouding his true intentions. Leaving the office, I couldn't help but wonder what secrets professor Thompson was hiding behind that cold, enigmatic smile. The sense of unease and curiosity mingled, fueling my desire to uncover the truth about my professor.

THE NEXT DAY I arrived at the campus, I was immediately struck by the buzz of chatter surrounding me. Rumors spread quickly like wildfire, and it wasn't long before I learned of a shocking development. Max, one of my closest friends, had gone missing. The news hit me hard, adding another layer of suspense and confusion to the already mysterious events unfolding around me. Now, with Max missing, the stakes were raised even higher, leaving me with even more questions.

I approached one of the students, my face creased with concern. "Hey, have you heard anything about Max's disappearance?" I asked urgently. The student looked up from their phone, eyes wide with gossip. "Yeah, I heard something," they replied, lowering their voice to a whisper. "It's all over campus, you know. They're saying Max was last seen near the Eden residence. Creepy, right?"

My eyes widened, a mixture of disbelief and determination washing over him. "The Eden residence?" I repeated, my voice trailing off. I hesitated for a moment, weighing the potential risks, but the burning need to find answers propelled me forward. "I have to see for myself," I muttered, a firm resolve settling in.

Without a second thought, I made up my mind. I couldn't afford to waste time in class when Max's safety was at stake. With a newfound resolve, I turned away from the bustling campus and began making my way towards the mysterious Eden residence. I knew I was taking a risk by skipping classes, but the urgency of the situation overshadowed any potential consequences.

As I approached the Eden residence, my heart pounding in my chest, a chilling voice suddenly broke the silence. "What are you doing here?" The familiar voice of professor Thompson sent a shiver down my spine, and I turned to find the professor standing behind me, a cryptic smile on his lips. With a quick gasp, I felt professor Thompson slender fingers dig into my waist, pulling me closer in a possessive gesture.

Professor Thompson cold fingers tightened their grip on my waist, his slender digits digging into my flesh. A sinister smile played on professor Thompson lips as he whispered, "Trying to investigate, are we? How naughty, Mr. Miller." The sudden proximity sent chills down my spine, my eyes widening in fear and confusion. Professor Thompson hand gripped tighter.

Professor Thompson voice dipped to a low, seductive tone as he leaned in close to my ear. "You shouldn't go in here, darling," he purred, his hot breath fanning against my cheek. The way he spoke sent chills down my spine, my body tensing involuntarily under the sinister caress of professor Thompson hand on my waist.

My protest was swift and resolute, my eyes fixed on professor Thompson with a steely determination. "I have to know what happened to Max," I said firmly, my voice laced with urgency. I tried to pull away, but

Professor Thompson grip on my waist remained unyielding, the professor's smile never faltering. I could feel the tension in the air, the clash of their wills creating an almost palpable intensity.

The night air was cool on my flushed cheeks, the sensation in stark contrast to the searing heat of professor Thompson grip. Despite his struggles, I was powerless to escape the professor's firm hold. The mysterious Eden residence receded into the distance, its secrets left behind as I found myself carried away by the enigmatic professor Thompson, the unsettling events of the day leaving me with more questions than answers, but I have other plan to go inside the Eden residence.
