Blood Ties and Treachery

"Long time, brother," Cassius whispered, approaching Damien. His presence cast a dark, silent atmosphere. His malignant gaze sent shivers down the spines of the guards and knights.

"You missed me, brother," Cassius said, tapping Damien's shoulder with a playful, demonic smile.

"What are you doing here, brother?" Damien questioned, removing Cassius's hand.

"Oh, aren't you happy to see me, brother? It's been a while—I'd say years, many years. Damn it," Cassius's eyes scanned the palace. "Everything sure seems to have changed," he smirked, his eyes returning to Cedric, standing with his sword held high.

"You must be the king," Cassius said.

Cedric gripped his sword tightly, ready to strike. "I am the king, and you two demons are in the wrong territory. None of you will leave here alive," Cedric declared firmly.

Cassius chuckled, his laugh echoing throughout the palace.
