A collective sigh filled the air as they all stared at Damien. Cedric walked up to him, his eyes unfriendly. "Know this doesn't imply my acceptance of you. I shall behead you. That's a promise."
"I am not here for your threats, nor am I here to form any alliance with you humans. I am doing this for Elena, the princess," Damien said, only to be cut off by Cedric with a fierce warning. "Do not utter my daughter's name from your mouth, or else."
Damien smirked. "We are not here to fight, are we? Time isn't on our side, so I suggest we act quickly instead of wasting it discussing all this."
"I don't plan on wasting time with you anyway," Cedric said. "Knights, assemble!" he ordered with a shout, and all the knights walked out, suited up with their swords sharpened, ready for the upcoming war.
Cedric mounted his horse, with Leonidas and Adrian by his side, as all the knights were on their horses. They made their way out of the palace, leaving the kingdom walls.
