KIRA RUN

Kira got tired of running likewise Foss, but they didn’t stop. 


 ‘We’re almost there, hang on.’ Foss said. Suddenly a Shaggy looking Inn rams Foss from the rear smashing him against a log. 


 Tom stutters speaking, ‘Yes it is I.’ 


 ‘You’re crazy coming out in the day.’ Foss scolds. 


 ‘You screwed my woman.’ Tom said, he slaps Foss thrice with a hand, pinning him against the log with the other. 


 ‘You have no idea what you doing, get off me.’ Said Foss 


 ‘Tell me Cousin, what more do I have to know.’ Tom shuts an eyeball, cocking his tiny fist aiming for a blow. A loud roar sneaks up on him. 


 Kira giggles as she mimics the roar once more; the Beast gives a mega roar responding to its call. Foss tried to stand but feels hurt; he then noticed his left ankle caught up in the log. He looked up at Tom, Tom smirks at him. 


 ‘She’s being chased by the Beast,’ ‘I’m in her debt; you have to take her to Max quickly.’ Foss said. 


 ‘Don’t you dare think this is over between us, I’ll come back for you?’ Tom said. 


 Finding Max, Kira became curious of Tom’s impromptu generosity, 


 ‘So Foss is your Cousin?’ Kira asked 


 ‘Indeed he is, he is the oldest in the family, we are the first order of the royal Inn clan and its mandatory all royal debts be paid when due,’ ‘Faster we are almost there.’ 


 They both arrive at a Lime tree with thick stems and a massive base surrounded by massive long grasses. 


 A little pebble hits Tom on the head, ‘Owwww.’ 


 ‘The names Max.’ he yells from his hole in the tree. ‘What you doing here Tom?’ he brings his face to surface and see’s Kira, he frowns taking a look at her. ‘What’s a Pyrain doing on my turf?’ 


 ‘The Beast is after her.’ Said Tom 


 ‘Foss owes her a debt and he says you can help.’ 


 ‘Still not my problem.’ Max creeps out his hole, sliding down the tree. He looked at Kira and took a sniff of the air around her, he faces his head down walking around Kira in circles contemplating on his final decision. He breathes hard and turned over to where Tom stood. 


 ‘What?’ ‘Where did he go?’ Max asked 


 Max screams aloud ‘that sneaky……’ withholding his last word. ‘This isn’t happening, Pyrain you’re on your own.’ He said. He climbs unto the tree crawling back into his hole. Kira looked around standing still, she could cry at any moment. 


 ‘Mum,’ ‘Dad.’ Kira began to sob.
