I was so engrossed in her appearance and poise that I didn’t comprehend the words that came out of her mouth. It wasn’t until Larissa stood in front of me, blocking me that I came out of the trance.

“Excuse you?” Larissa looked ready to slap her dirty.

“You are quite excused. I wasn’t talking to you, rather to your friend behind you.”

“Oh no. You were talking to us both. You talk her, you talk to me.”

“Fine then. I’d ask again, are you the one sleeping with my husband?”

Larissa turned to me. “Do you know her, girl?” she asked me.

“No.” truthfully, I couldn’t remember her. “You have the wrong person because I don’t know you nor your husband.” I said to the blonde.

She laughed as she folded her arm on her chest. “So I’m magically making things up? It is better you confess now that I am asking nicely.”
