Josephine knelt before Michael, whose eyes were glued to the images that were being displayed on the television. If he was hearing or listening to what Josephine was saying, he did nothing to show it. 


Josephine undeterred by his ignoring her continued to plead her case. 


Michael, who was genuinely interested in the show on the television minutes ago now wore an annoyed look as it was becoming more difficult to pay attention amidst Josephine's pleading.
