The Real World 20

Wen Nannan sat by the window in the service area's lounge with her grandparents and Zhang Yuanyuan and Aunt Shuhua.

She ordered some food for them and then started looking down at the route. They still had about 21 hours of driving ahead.

"How's it going, Nannan?" Zhang Yuanyuan looked over at her while holding a hand-grabbed pancake.

The navigation's estimated time—21 hours—meant they could hardly rest and driving nonstop straight back. If they stopped at a hotel to rest for a night, it would be nearly impossible to reach the manor by tomorrow.

"Do you know how to drive?" Wen Nannan looked at her.

"Of course," Zhang Yuanyuan nodded. "I even brought my license."

"Good," Wen Nannan made a quick decision. "Let's take turns driving from now on."

For some reason, an increasing sense of urgency was pressing on her, pushing her to get everyone back to the manor as soon as possible, or the consequences would be unimaginable.
