Marry Me

I took a deep breath, my fingers twitching slightly at my sides as I walked forward, completely blind to the world around me. The silk blindfold was soft but firm against my skin, covering my vision completely.

I couldn't see anything only darkness, and the occasional flicker of golden light whenever I turned my head in a certain direction.

My heart pounded against my ribs, a mix of excitement and nervous anticipation flooding through me.

Carmen's touch was the only thing grounding me, her warm, steady fingers wrapped gently around my hand.

She guided me carefully, her grip firm but never forceful, making sure I didn't stumble or trip over anything. It was reassuring—comforting, even—but still, my pulse was racing.

"Are you okay?" Carmen's voice came, close to my ear. Her tone was light, teasing, but there was a hint of genuine concern beneath it.
