You two are so dramatic

As much as I wanted to get these two menaces out of my car as soon as possible, the truth was—I was starving.

And knowing Ciara and Isabel? They weren't going to let me drive home without stopping somewhere to eat. If I tried, they would probably start a rebellion in my own car.

So, instead of suffering through their inevitable chaotic protests, I sighed and said, "Alright, where are we getting food?"

Ciara immediately perked up. "Finally! I thought you were gonna let us starve!"

Isabel snorted. "Starve? We were in the store for, what? Two hours?"

"Exactly!" Ciara crossed her arms dramatically. "That's two hours without food. Do you know what that does to a person?"

I rolled my eyes. "You two are so dramatic."

"Bold of you to say," Isabel muttered.

I ignored that comment and turned onto a main street. "Alright, decide now. I'm not driving around in circles while you two argue about restaurants."
