CHAPTER 2 (like the wind)

The few times that I've been outside the country, i don't remember most of the people being rude to your extent 🙄, but just forget about it,

—the girl from earlier said as I walked up to her, i wasn't surprised by her statement because i could see that she looked annoyed,

And who are you referring to as rude?

– i asked but she just rolled her eyes,

Like i said, forget about it,

–She answered as she head to the school hallway,

Uhhmm__ wait.!!!,

–I finally called out to her and she paused,

WHAT.!!???

–She asked with a voice that displayed her complete annoyance from my behavior earlier, although i didn't care how she felt, but i needed someone to help me with the directions,

I was wondering if you can help show me to the principal's office, its my first day and I'm a bit lost on the way around🥺.

And how is that my problem? Do I look like a tour guide to you?

–i felt annoyed with the way that she replied harshly to me, but I had to mellow down, i was the one who was in need of her help,

How much will be enough for you to show me to the principal's office?

– I asked an immediately her face went red with anger,

Look kid, What do you take me for? A cheap beggar who would bring down her dignity just because you offered me a little cash!!!😠,

– i could sense the situation escalating quickly, so i had to play it cool,

Pleeease🥺, i just want you to help me and I will leave you be,

–i was surprised by the way her face immediately lit up when I said please, but even more surprised at myself for saying please, this was the first time I've ever said please to someone, and it felt kinda weird,

I'll forgive you just because you said please, now come with me ""

She ordered and i followed suit°°°°°

She helped show me into the principal's office, and as it turns out, she was a freshman just like me, but she was in the A block, while i was in C, i even got to know her name CAYDENCE WILLIAM'S,

her dad was a politician in Lagos Nigeria, but i didn't know her mom's story,

She was the last child in the family of three, she had two elder brothers, one was a senior in the school, while the other was almost done with college°°°°°

As i stepped into my new class, it didn't feel any different from my old school in Seattle, but only a few students had blonde hair and light skin like me, when I walked in, most of the guys there began making gestures at me, some even came up close to flirt with me, they were all "JERKS" but you can't blame them, i didn't mean to brag but i just looked irresistibly cute😚,

Just some seconds after i settled down, a dark haired girl walked up to my seat, she was really pretty, but I'm sure i surpassed her in looks 😌,

Hey newbie, don't you know that you should take permission from me before you enter this class, or didn't they teach you respect in your old school??

And who might the senior be? Because all i see here is an old horse who can't mind her business,

–The people who sat behind burst into laughter, and that angered her the more,

She wanted to react but fortunately a teacher walked in and she shamefully walked back to her seat while giving me deadly stares, but that didn't bother me one bit, i had my studies to focus on and not even a seventy years old horse like her could pick on me°°°°°

During the afternoon that day, i was searching for some books in my locker when the girl from my class walked up to me, she slammed my locker, but I was quick enough to remove my hand before it got impaled by the locke door,

WHAT ARE YOU, STUPID.!!???, what if that locker door got my hands?

– i yelled with anger

Then it would have been more fun😈, she said with a smirk,

Look i know that you're after trouble, and it's not my fault that I was so pretty that I'm stealing all the attention from you😌, I said with an evil grin

YOU WITCH 😠!!!!

– she yelled loudly as she grabbed my English textbook and tire it, but i quickly pulled viscously at her hair, and we both broke into a huge cat fight,

The teachers soon gathered to separate us, i only sustained a bite on the ear and it was bleeding, but I didn't care, i was happy to have pulled half the hairs on her head and she was screaming in pains, we were led to the principal's office, and it turns out that she was the principal's second daughter, but i didn't care, i knew my rights and i knew that she was at fault, so I was confident that nothing would happen to me,

But to my uttermost surprise, even after witnesses said that she was the cause of the fight, she was sent off with only a warning, while I was given a two weeks detention, WHAT THE F**K !!!!,

I was very confused that i began to yell and threaten to report to my lawyer,

If this was how Nigerian laws were, then I'm not sticking with it,

NO WAY😫•••••••••••★
