CHAPTER 11: VINCENT

"I apologize, but what would posses you to fight a stranger." Mexi ask Lily in a worried tone.

"I-I simply like to fight strong people!" Lily reply full of energy.

"May I know what you mean?"

Lily looks at Mexi sighing before explaining everything that she used to do, particularly the fact she fought monsters in the enchanted forest. But, she excludes the meeting with the connet bear, Alice teaching her magic and the part about the GOL, Sam and Victoria being assassin's.

"Wha-whats wrong old men?" Lily notice the expression of disbelief on Mexi.

"When you...say enchanted forest do-do you mean?" Stuttering and punting heavily at the same time.

"Old men do-do you know something about my village?" Mexi come to his senses after hearing Lily and coughs slightly to add...

"Okay. Then let's sit down first." Mexi takes off his coat placing it on the ground so him and Lily do not have to sit on top of the grass.

"Lily keep this in mind. The outside world consist of 5 continents."

"Old men wha-what do you know about my village?"

"I will get to that part, however you should know this places." His smile so bright it gives of the feeling of trust emitting from him. He continues to say…

"To the east is the Amren continent which we are currently living in. To the west is the Jin continent that is ruled by a emperor. To the South West and East is the Furan and the Aze continent." Lily questions Mexi about the 5 continent, but Mexi shrug his shoulder.

"Lily would you inform me about how your village was created inside the enchanted forest."

Lily trys to remember how Aunty Futa explained the story to her. Even though some parts are blurry she tell Mexi about the slave and how he helped the ancestors of the village.

A flicker of realization spark in Mexi's eyes. He brows furrowing in concentration as if piercing together a puzzle.

"Thank you for sharing that story with me, but from now on promise me you shall not tell anyone aside from and this Alice girl about the enchanted forest. Also do not say you were raised there." Grateful smile.

"Then wha-what do you want me to say I come from?"

"Mhm, how about you say your Lily born and raised in the Mercian Kingdom. Now let me tell what history knows about your village."

Lily cross her legs excited to know more about her birth place.

"The story began a millennium ago when the emperor of Jin wanted to conquer the world. The other continents fought back of course,thou they did not stand a chance against his strongest knight named Vincent. The reason was Vincent wielded elemental abilities that no humen could have at the time. Due to him the Jin emperor's power against the world expanded by 90%. None the less it all came crushing down on one sudden when Vincent destroyed and burned down everything the Jin emperor accomplished. Thanks to that peace was restored among the continents and he disappeared after that. During the rebuilding of the Amren continent they found a forest that could give us the same powers as him, but we could only posses one element from him. They named this forest the Enchanted Forest and him the Founder of Magic."

"Hell yeah! This Vin-Vincent guy was mos strong… I wish to-to meet him." With a joyful expression.

"Well good luck with that." Mexi mummers to himself while nodding to what Lily said.

"Old man…". Mexi interrupt Lily feeling that Lily is raise his age. He tell Lily to call him… "Mexi from now on not old man" thou Lily laughs it of seeing Mexi's reddish cheeks.

She calms down and ask what that golden light around him was trying to change the topic. Mexi inform him it was his magic energy. Which is something that shows the amount of magic a person posse's.

"That would me-mean you're strong right!" Lily question Mexi.

"Yea. You told me that you wanted to fight strong people? So do you know how to use magic?"

Curious to know if she has a quantity of magic because she comes from the enchanted forest as the rumors suggest about people who come from the enchanted forest.

"N-No, I was actually training it."

Mexi rub his chin, wondering maybe that is way Lia was not terrified of his magic energy.

"How about I teach you to sense magic it then?"

Lily glare at Mexi and with no second thought she agrees to it.

Lily and Mexi stand up with Mexi advice Lily to move 10 meters away from him. He dust off his coat and wears it.

"I will first teach you to sense magic around. And if you can sense the magic around you, then that means you know how to release it outwardly."

Just before he can continue Lily voice out even though she can not do none of that.

Mexi affirm her that all he shall teach her then.

"First close your eyes, then deeply inhale and then picture small lights around yourself."

"Once you've picture them, act like you're meditate until you can feel a strange sensation next to your heart."

"Let that sensation flow through the blood stream and let a bit of it escape once it makes contact with your skin. Now once it has escaped combine each of that small amount of energy and let it surround your entire body. Once you have done that I bet you should feel everything around you under a certain range."

"Yea you're r-right Mexi. It's like I ca-can see everything. The two rabbits behind you running away, the small birds flying on top of us and best of all the energy you're release that feels like am staring at a mo-monster!"

He expected that at the very least Lily mighty not be able to understand what he said at the very least not being able do it on the first try.

This shocks Mexi, as what Lily just did could only be called as genius in the world of magic.

But, his not the only one who shocked. Lily can not also believe he just learned how to sense magic so easily. It is like being able to do it is second nature.She becomes more curious as who is the owner of this body.

"Now wha-what's next Mexi?" Opening her eyes.

"Learning how to release that same energy for combat."

While he says this, he pictures Nono's image in his mind.

"I want you to transport your magic energy just like you did. Unlike last time do not let it make contact with your skin yet. Leave it till it reaches your fist."

Lily excitingly follows all the step and just like before the energy flows smoothly.

"Mexi I-I can feel so much power on my fist!" Her body shaking with excitement.

"Lily transport the energy from the hand you use the most. From the on punch the ground with full force."

Lily nods -

Raise her fist-
