Season 2 Chapter 13: A Future Warning Unfold

[Meadowville City — Winchester Mansion — Family Clinic]

On the 15th day of the third week of April 2021, Accel woke up from a three-day sleep. The doctors informed him that he had lost consciousness after summoning something while at the Cathedral, specifically when he activated a blessing. Members of the Envoys of Light, the Lightbearers assigned to guard Accel, explained that they had used the Rite of Holy Channeling—an ability to temporarily transfer holy energy to one person—to compensate for Accel's lack of holy energy needed to activate the blessing. However, since it was Accel's first time using holy energy, he ended up fainting.

Accel had initially thought the blessing would fail, but upon checking its description again, he discovered that it no longer consumed holy energy for her to be summoned. There was another issue: since Accel was the only one able to summon and unsummon her, the divine vessel had been summoned from the physical world for the past three days. The majority of the Luminescent Faith, including the Supreme Matriarch and the Saintess of Luminescent Hope, had to remain in Meadowville City during this time because they could not leave the divine vessel unattended.

He asked his attendants to help him prepare to meet them immediately, as three days had passed.

[Meadowville City — Cathedral of Ascending Dawn — Courtyard]

In the Cathedral of Ascending Dawn, the Divine Vessel Aurelia Noctessa Lumina, Supreme Matriarch Celestia Virelle Dawnshade, Saintess of Luminescent Hope Isariel Thalyn Evera, Archenvoy of the Radiant Path, and the High Radiants were enjoying their morning tea together. Just then, the doors opened, and a Lightbearer announced, "Supreme Matriarch, Count Accel von Winchester has awoken from his slumber and is on his way here." The Supreme Matriarch nodded, and she, along with the others, prepared to welcome Count Accel in the courtyard.

"Lightbearer Corwin, please inform Count Accel that we are waiting for him in the courtyard," instructed the Supreme Matriarch. Corwin stood up and departed to relay the message. After an hour had passed, Accel arrived at the Cathedral accompanied by his vassals and friends. They moved past the Main Prayer Room toward the exit and entered the center of the Cathedral, where the courtyard was located.

The entire area was filled with members of the Luminescent Faith's religious military order, the Order of the Radiant Vanguard. At the forefront stood the Divine General of the Radiance, dressed in a massive, metal-clad silver armor that radiated a holy and divine aura. This aura leaked out intentionally, a phenomenon that only the high-ranking officials were aware of.

Count Accel, along with his vassals and friends, knelt as they greeted the Supreme Matriarch for her formal introduction. Their first meeting had been quite direct, but following Accel's initial attempt to activate the blessing, there were concerns about his well-being. Typically, the assigned believers would have waited for Accel to recover, but since the divine vessel had not returned, they felt compelled to remain in Meadowville City for the past three days.

"I apologize for not properly introducing myself earlier," the Supreme Matriarch began. "As you know, I am Celestia Virelle Dawnshade, the Supreme Matriarch of the Luminescent Faith and the highest spiritual authority across Elysiara (Earth). Beside me is the Saintess of Luminescent Hope, Isariel Thalyn Evera. She serves as the spiritual counterbalance and, in my absence, acts as my second spiritual authority. To my right is Matilda Frances Bellamy, the Archenvoy of the Radiant Path, who is the Supreme Field Commander of all the Envoys of Light. Lastly, to my left is one of the members of the High Radiants, Rosalind Ivy Blackwell, who oversees one of the major domains of Diplomacy within the Luminescent Faith."

Count Accel, his vassals, and friends were overwhelmed by the high-ranking introductions from the Luminescent Faith. The Supreme Matriarch then commanded Count Accel and everyone else to stand, as Accel's blessing, which granted him the ability to summon the Divine Blessing of Aurelia Noctessa Lumina, would convey an important message.

As the Divine Vessel Aurelia Noctessa Lumina slowly opened her eyes, the radiant golden glow emanating from her presence intensified across the courtyard. The light was warm, but overwhelming, like the first sunrise after a thousand years of darkness. Her eyes, calm and full of unimaginable age, scanned the crowd — yet they only stopped at one person. Her summoner. Count Accel von Winchester.

The gathered members of the Luminescent Faith, including the Supreme Matriarch, Saintess, Archenvoy, and High Radiants, instinctively lowered their heads as her presence grew heavier.

Aurelia's gaze remained fixed on Accel as she finally spoke. Her voice echoed softly, not from her lips, but from the very air itself. There was no sound, yet all heard her.

"The veil between this world and the truths beyond shall no longer remain closed. In two years' time, the divine barrier that shields this world will open. My younger sister will arrive—her steps will cross into this land."

The entire courtyard went silent. Her words were clear, yet confusing. The Supreme Matriarch and the Saintess looked at one another, their expressions uncertain. None among them had ever heard of such a prophecy — or of any 'barrier' protecting the world.

Aurelia continued, her expression calm and firm.

"This world... once known as Tranquilis, was a name gifted by my younger sister, the one who first shaped this land. The name Elysiara, which you now speak, is but a veil I placed long ago. When the barrier falls, the world shall reclaim its first name—Tranquilis—its true identity reborn."

The confusion grew among the listeners. Some whispered, others simply stared. The weight of Aurelia's words made the holy aura in the courtyard feel heavier than ever. But she did not stop.

"This world must become one. United in cause, united in spirit. If unity is not achieved, then what awaits is not survival... but ruin. There are others—beings not of this world, not of this cosmos. If Tranquilis fails to stand as one, it will be taken or destroyed by them."

Accel, standing at the front, clenched his hands. His thoughts were a mix of uncertainty and urgency. Then he spoke, gathering his courage.

"Who are they...?" he asked, his voice cutting through the heavy silence.

Aurelia turned her eyes toward him. The golden light in her pupils intensified.

"They are the results of the Great Experiment. Other lifeforms, born and evolved across countless universes. They are not like you... but they are not so different either. Some were given power. Others took it. They were made to grow, to rise, and to test the strength of creation. And now, they come to see if this world... if Tranquilis... is worthy of standing among them."

Those words left everyone speechless. Not even the Supreme Matriarch had anything to say. The Great Experiment... it was something no one in the Luminescent Faith had ever heard of. Not in scripture, not in sacred rituals, not in divine dreams.

Aurelia's voice softened, but her tone remained absolute.

"You have a limited time. A minimum of two years. A maximum of five. That is the window given. No more, no less. If the world does not stand united by then... you will fall alone."

As soon as her words ended, the divine glow that enveloped the vessel began to fade. Aurelia's form shimmered like light reflected on water, then vanished completely as Accel's blessing deactivated. The courtyard was left in stunned silence. The air still shimmered with remnants of holy power, but the goddess was gone.

In the center of the courtyard, a single note remained. It floated down gently from the sky, shining faintly with divine energy. One of the Lightbearers picked it up and handed it to the Supreme Matriarch.

The message was simple.

"This message must be spread. Let none remain blind."
