The city was busy and the country newsletters were running out of paper from the way the matters of the royal press conference got headlined on the news. Some were ok with the new laws of the harem and some were not, obviously they had reasons to be mad at the emperor. Just because he couldn't handle his own harem, doesn't mean the whole country couldn't control theirs."The empress of Looria will arrive in Stayphl in a few hours, their plane is delayed because of the strong winds." Eunice reported to the empress."My sister will be here and I can't wait to see her. I've missed her and Anita still refuses to come see me?" Aria asked, it had been long since he saw his youngest sibling, he saw Anita not long ago, five months to be exact, but Angela was a different story. Ever since the last born got married to the crown prince of Looria, she hasn't been back to Allira even with countless invitations from King Paul."The crown princess, has been said to be travelling again your highness." Eunice reported back to the empress."Yeah my father's throne is in trouble." Aria sighed in concern. Aria just sat there and spectated as the scene unfolded."But-""But nothing, I am spending time with my obviously pregnant wife and you're out here in the palace galavanting as if you own the place. You disregard your servants and even disrespect the mother of the nation. Robert, make sure the imperial concubine doesn't leave her palace for the next three years unless I say otherwise." Tyler ordered. He had grown tired of the woman behaving like a savage, he had heard of the accounts the imperial concubine had made the whole palace suffer in their absence."Three months." Aria said, making the emperor and Robert turn to him, even Rose's interest was piqued."What?" Tyler asked seemingly lost."The imperial concubine shall do three months of palace arrest and if she doesn't mend and change her ways, then we can sentence her to three years." Aria said making the emperor furrow his brows at him."I said three years empress, are you undermining my power and authority?" Tyler asked the empress with a stern tone. Aria raised his brow at the other male and snickered."Three years is unfair, even for the imperial concubine." Aria said."I'm the emperor and she's my wife.""Mistress, your majesty. Aria said as he walked out of the room, leaving Tyler in a trance."Robert, three months will do." Tyler said to male who was preparing to go."Your majesty!" Rose yelled."My decision is final, unless you want those three years of palace arrest?" Tyler asked as he turned his back to the imperial concubine, ready to go console his wife."I thought so." He said as he heard nothing from the imperial concubine, he left the room and went the way the empress went.Three days had passed since the day the imperial concubine was sentenced to three months of house arrest and the woman has been bitter ever since and has been throwing an endless tantrum and wrecking her palace. She is meant to be reflecting on her behaviour and not making things worse for herself.Meanwhile the empress' younger sister Empress Angela of Looria had arrived the day prior and Aria was busy with the twenty-four-year-old. Unlike Aria who got married at the young age of fifteen, Angela only got married two years ago after completing her BSc in Forensic Financial Accounting. Aria never liked school and never even pursued an academic path for himself and maybe that's one of the reasons Tyler might have thought less of him because the emperor had a Ph.D. Quantum Mechanics. For someone as intelligent as the emperor he was sure dumb socially, but what would one expect from a nerd, they're usually socially stunted and impaired."Elder brother, why are you pregnant with this man's children again?" So, what is it this time?" "Way to ruin the mood. Anyways, Looria has been having rebels' attacks and at first my husband had everything under control, but they started to get out of control. Our law enforcement services suffered a great hit since we don't have the financial ability to keep a large number of them in training, and by that the palace and capital city are almost defenceless. That big headed bastard refused to leave the capital and come here with me." Angela stated, here smile and naughty aura disappeared into thin air."I'd have helped if I knew, why is it not on the news?" Aria asked with concern for his sister and her people."Well, my husband had subdued the news from getting out of the empires borders, you know men and their fragile egos, thinking they can fix everything and come out victorious, when they should actually be asking for help. Angela said with anger laced through her voice, she loved her husband, but hated his huge ego that was the same size as his big ass head."I see it runs in the family." Poor Robert cowered at the empress glare; the emperor had no reason to drag him into his marital mess."Tyler, you too almost ran this country into the mud with you dumb absent mind. Although I blame myself for being absent from the court during my years here, but that does not validate your behaviour to be a shitty emperor. Now look at what Looria has become because of a man's ego, imagine, the capital city being the only place standing in a very huge empire. The past emperors of Looria are to blame too, what type of stupid man conquers such huge lands and tribes of people but can't even give them a decent standard of living." Aria stated to the seven people present there. Angela, Empress Luna, that was the title she was given as she become the empress of Looria, had come with her royal advisor; Sir Diederik, her strategist; Lady Cornelia and her lady in waiting, Lady Eline. The other three were obviously the Emperor Lon, Steward Robert and Head Maid Eunice, both acting heads of the palace security and both Tyler and Aria's trusted right hand's and Aria's himself.
