Chapter 25

Appearing in front of the corpse of his daughter, Zeus could only stare at it with hollowed eyes. His once beautiful daughter was reduced to nothing but a corpse mutilated to an incompressible degree. He knew that it was his daughter... The broken bow in her hand, the arrows beside her, and the bloodied bodies of huntresses beside her said it all to him.

"This... Can't be." Was all that could escape his mouth. The weather began changing, the once sunny sky was now covered by the dark clouds that spewed rain. Thunder began erupting from the sky, one after another, non-stop, the wind began blowing even faster than before. Poseidon may have been the one to control the weather, but Zeus's anger alone could forcefully do the same.

Grabbing his daughter's corpse in a bridal style, Zeus could only stare at the very sky that he ruled, crying to his hearts content. There was nothing that would have sooth the pain of losing a family member, especially one as important as Artemis.

"I will find out whoever did this and I will bring pain that they were never expecting. My dear daughter, I will kill whoever did this to you." Zeus quickly, with his daughter in hand, turned around and began walking away.

He will find out who did this...

No matter whatever it takes.

The person who did this will pay dearly...

"That was absolutely brutal. I loved it." Ddraig definitely loved the brutality that Issei showed. It showed dominance...

"She had it coming." Issei continued soaring across the ocean. Watching the waves and talking with Ddraig was all that he could do to keep himself entertained.

"Now, we have to deal with the other Gods hunting you down. Luckily, we killed all the witnesses, they still don't know that you're the killer yet." Ddraig was true to that, the supernatural world hasn't had a dragon emperor that was purposefully against them. Most of them were avoiding the supernatural world and prioritizing fighting against their rivals to death.

"Speaking of killing, what was the greatest amount of white dragon hosts killed by a Red Dragon host?"

"Two, that person was known as the strongest Red Dragon Emperor in history. Well, he will be of the past. Soon, another one will rise above the rest and break the record and forever kill my nemesis."

"Yes, and that will be-"

"You... You have everything in line to become the strongest." Ddraig truly had all the highest expectation for Issei. He was hoping that Issei would become the strongest Dragon Emperor. Not only that, he had hoped that he would be the very first Dragon Emperor to continue being dominant, so much so that even the endless cycles of White Dragon Emperors to come wouldn't hold a candle to him.

Issei continue soaring through the surface, that was when he broke through the land, shattering through the nearest mountains. The speed at which that he was moving at while he was distracted in thought of what he had done brought him to drill right through the huge landscape of mountains that met him when he passed the ever beautiful ocean.

"Son of a-" And he was interrupted with rocks and dust entering his mouth.

"Bitch." Ddraig spoke in a tone basically telling Issei, 'I got you bro.'

Spiting out the very rocks and dust, Issei could only sigh in annoyance. Zipping through, Issei suddenly stopped in his tracks. Looking down to see something that amused him.

"Ddraig... You know what time it is."

"Rip and tear until it is done..."

In front of him was a group of Fallen Angels that looked at him with different expressions. Fear, anger, disgust, and many more, but some of them had their spears ready to throw. Looks like he would need to clean up a bit...

While all that was going along, Raynare could only smile in satisfaction, seeing all her many people that she had recruited through her abandonment from the Grigori. The hundreds of Fallen Angels and rogue priests that she had forcefully brought along to her side... She was beginning to think that nothing was going to stop her. She could continue bringing in the many people that have left the major factions. This was perfect... She was sitting down on a small throne that she made. Over the course of a couple of weeks, she had moved her "headquarters" to a more secluded area. A small tunnel beneath her original headquarters. Not only that, but she had been practicing more of her Sacred Gear. She had learned how to focus on individual parts of her body to heal. Obviously, she needs those body parts to be connected to be able to heal, but only Cadre Class beings could do that... Well, that was what she thought.

"Lady Raynare." One of her Fallen Angel subordinates' barges through the door with a look of distress and fear covering his face. Looking at his lady, he could only cower in fear upon seeing her strict gaze encompassing his entire body. His entire life was going to depend on this moment... If his lady will spare him for being the bearer of bad news wasn't up to him... "He attacked... He killed them all."

Raynare could only scream, "Who attacked?"

"The monster... He killed another group of Fallen Angels."

"Oh, I thought it was something important. Well, looks like we can gain more allies from the ones that survived. Set a group to scout the area."

"No, that was one of our very groups." That was when Raynare began worrying a little.

"Huh... One of our groups. Well, there's nothing that I can do. We will just have to deal with the consequences."

"What? But aren't we going to get revenge."

Raynare could only sigh in annoyance, she should have seen this coming. Most of them weren't around as long as her to understand how the world works... The weak die and the strong live. "I would love to but that very monster has killed many multi-winged Fallen Angels with relative ease and rumors also have it that this monster killed Kokabiel with ease. You really think that I would sacrifice more of my allies, my very own family, to kill that man when the casualties will be heavy on us." Raynare disappeared and reappeared right next to the poor man before continuing, "The truth is... We don't stand a chance against him. He's leagues above us."

Slapping him on the face gently, she simply turned around and sat back on her throne. "I do have something that you can do. Could you fetch me a few Fallen Angels? I have a mission for them."

Nodding, the man ran away as fast as possible.

Before the absolute destruction that happened to one of her groups, Issei could be seen with the last remaining survivor of the massacre that he brought. He hated all... He will never love all. Man, woman, child, it didn't matter to Issei. He knew that once he started the massacre, he needed to end it. Why let the children live when they could very well be his future demise when they grow up?

"Lucky survivor." Issei spoke while slamming his foot onto the Fallen Angels head. "Any last words?"

"Wait! Please! We didn't mean to provoke you. We just... We just thought that you were a normal supernatural being."

"So, if I was a normal human, you would have sliced me into pieces without caring at all? Is this some sort of joke?"

"Wait... It wasn't our orders." The man could only think of an excuse. He would rather die to his lady than this monster. "It was our lady's orders."

"Lady's orders... Interesting." Issei said before raising his foot up. "What's her name?"

"Her name... Her name..." Issei slammed his foot again into the man's head. "Raynare! Her name is Raynare."

Issei stopped... His eyes widened before shaking his head. Raynare... That bitch... Grabbing the man by the neck and raising his head into the air, Issei could only look into the man's soul. Entering his Balance Breaker form, Issei continued staring into the man's eyes. His eyes unwavering, his glare ever so stern, his emotions slowly beginning to go out of control, he began squeezing the man's neck. The man could only begin releasing tears. His life was going to be taken away. There was absolutely nothing that he could do.

"Where is she located at? Where is she right now?" His voice filled with anger... It was taking everything that he could think of to not squeeze the neck that he was holding into nothingness.

"She's... Nearby... Abandoned building... Two hundred miles to the north... Underneath, her base. Please... Spare me." Issei dropped the man onto the ground.

Launching into the sky, he could only think of one thing in his mind... Kill that bitch.

The Fallen Angel that was spared could only gasp for breath, looking up to where Issei flew towards in fear. Never has he ever been this terrified...

Getting up, the man was grateful that he was spared. Knowing that he now has to hide from his lady, he didn't have a problem screwing her over for his own safety. Taking one foot forward...

A beam crashed down onto him disintegrating his very existence into nothingness. He didn't even have a second to react, Issei had left him a surprise beam.

Blowing up the very terrain around, each explosion that Issei left in the terrain that he dominated continued his reputation...

He was going to let nothing survive after encountering him. There will be no witnesses...
