First evolution

Several seconds passed in silence.

"Damn, isn't the main character supposed to go through some trials and figure out how the treasure works himself?"

Julius was genuinely amazed at how easily he had obtained the treasure. Moreover, they even explained to him how it works.

Deciding not to dwell on it any longer, Julius took out the first jar of blood. The jar looked small, but the blood inside was much darker than human blood. And there was some incomprehensible inscription on the lid. Strangely, Julius easily understood what was written on it.

Now the question was different: should he consume the blood from the jar? Moreover, even though he said that he diluted the blood, one should not forget that it could be deadly for him now. Besides, if he becomes a vampire, would he want to feed on other people's blood? Would he be afraid of sunlight? Would his appearance change?

Leaving this question for later, Julius got up and began to leave the forest. Having reached home, Julius saw a young girl about 16 years old. She had black hair and gray eyes. Her body was like an hourglass and grew in all the right places.

Seeing Julius's return, the girl stood up and, puffing her cheeks cutely, went to him.

"I see you want to leave a garden on me? Why have you been fussing with some stone for so long? And where is your pickaxe? You left with it! Just don't tell me it broke or you lost it!"

Seeing how displeased his sister was, Julius sighed. And hugged her. His sister had a hard life after the death of their parents. She lost her parents at 9 during a cataclysm. Since then, Julius has been taking care of her and helping her in every way.

"Sorry, but what I found there can change our lives. So please don't be upset. Besides, on the way to the cottage, I bought your favorite meat."

„Okay," the sister muttered quietly.

After parting, Julius went to light a fire and cook the meat. After eating, Julius went with his sister into the house. Entering the room, Julius lay down on the bed. Thinking again about the blood and the crystal. Deciding that he should first check the blood, Julius got up again and approached the table. Taking a syringe, Julius wanted to pierce the lid. But as soon as he pressed, the needle from the syringe broke. Sighing, he decided to open the lid slightly and take a droplet.

But as soon as Julius opened the lid, all the blood flew out of the jar and entered Julius's body.

After standing for a minute, not understanding what had happened, Julius was about to approach and lie down on the bed. Suddenly, an incredible pain pierced his heart. Falling to the floor, Julius began to gasp for air. His vision started to darken, and he was losing consciousness.

Without his knowledge, his body began to grow. His pajamas tore apart, and Julius was enveloped in a red cocoon that emitted a bright glow and pulsed like a heart.

Time passed, and morning began to break. The cocoon in the room started to dim, and at some point, it completely disintegrated.

Julius's eyes fluttered and opened. Rising and leaning on the windowsill in hopes of standing up, Julius fell again. On closer inspection, he realized he had broken off a piece of the armrest.

Realizing that most likely due to the blood he had become stronger, Julius tried to control his strength and stand up. Standing up, he realized that walking had become incredibly easy. It felt as if some kind of limiter within him had broken.

Deciding it would be better to find out everything from the system, he exclaimed, "Status!"

After reviewing his status, Julius realized that he had become many times stronger than humans. After thinking a bit more, Julius suddenly understood that his appearance had probably changed as well. If he appeared before his sister in such a state, she might be frightened of him.

Quickly approaching the wardrobe, he looked in the mirror. His height had increased by about 5 centimeters, his eyes had changed color from gray to a light red, which seemed incredibly mysterious and beautiful. Moreover, Julius noticed that muscles had appeared on him which, no matter how long he trained, did not show up.

Realizing that he could try to explain this to his sister as an effect of a sudden awakening, Julius relaxed.

At that moment, he decided to check the skills he had acquired.

Usually, Julius wakes up earlier and wakes Sophia. But waking up today, Sophia did not see her brother and got worried.

She quickly approached him and began to examine him. Julius felt like he was at a doctor's appointment. After examining Julius, Sophia sighed and looked seriously at her brother.

"Aren't you going to tell me what happened to you?" the sister asked sternly.

Sighing, Julius said that he had awakened the system. And now he needed to register. Moreover, he could now undergo brief training from the government and go to the gates.

Hearing this, Sophia almost cried.

"Brother, you don't have to go through the gates. I love you anyway. Besides, it's too dangerous there. What... what if something happens to you? What will I do?"

Seeing his sister on the verge of tears, Julius hugged her and stroked her head.

"It's all right. I promise everything will be fine with me," Julius said soothingly.

Getting up, the brother and sister went to the first floor. Since Julius had awakened, he was now obliged to go to the guild and register himself. Later, he and some others would be taken to a camp for training.

Realizing that he could not just leave his sister, Julius decided to leave her with Auntie for a while.

Having thought out a plan in his mind, Julius approached the stove and began to cook. After breakfast and packing their things, Julius and Sophia went to Moscow.

On the way, many people noticed Julius. Especially often, girls approached him to get acquainted. Only now did Julius understand the problems of a handsome guy.

Seeing Julius's suffering, Sophia approached and hugged his arm. Thus, the trip was much more comfortable.

Having reached the apartment, Julius left his sister at home for a while, and he himself went to the guild.
