Kaden looked so hurt when Storm called him pathetic, that for a moment she regretted her choice of words.

However, when her mind brought up the imagery of him kissing his girlfriend or ex, passionately, she shrugged the guilty feeling away. No way was she feeling guilty for a scumbag. He deserved everything that she had called him now.

"Is that all the explanations you have to render?" She asked him rather. "Is there any other story you want to tell me?"

Kaden shook his head slowly, still hurt over the choice of Storm's words.

"Well, if that is all, you can leave." She pronounced, stepping away from the window ledge and going to the other side of her bed, determined to keep the distance between them.

"Storm.." Kaden called, about to state another case but she was having none of it.

"Just leave." She said, pointing at the window, refusing to back down from her resolve of staying away from him.
