STORM

Lucy darted glances between Storm and Justin after the latter's statement, her gaze lingering on Storm the most. She was obviously waiting for any one of them to tell her that it was a joke.

Well, it was not.

"Are you both serious? Storm has really woken up to her senses?" Lucy asked, causing Storm to groan.

Like seriously, girl? Must you throw me under the bus too? Storm thought, gawking when Lucy high fived Justin. When did the two begin to shake hands? When had the truce been made?

The duo were usually on opposite sides, for reasons she had never been able to decipher. She had met Lucy before Justin, and so when she had incorporated Justin into the friendship circle, Lucy had actually taken it the wrong way, a bit jealous that her position would be taken, no matter how much she had tried to convince her friend that it wasn't so. It had taken a long while before Lucy had even allowed him to eat on their table in high school.
