KADEN
Despite Kaden's dismissive statement, Avery didn't move one bit from the spot she was occupying on his bed.
Kaden felt his anger begin to rise at the insubordination but decided to keep a tight leash on that emotion that wouldn't do much help here.
Avery was Lent's cousin. And even though he was tempted to give her some kind of punishment, he considered Lent's feelings. That his gamma had mentioned that he didn't care if his cousin got fucked up by him, didn't mean the latter didn't care at all. Lent just didn't do well with disobedient people.
Me too.
Kaden, however, agreed that he was at fault for deciding to tango with Avery when she wasn't his mate. He should have just left it at one hook up. Now, it might threaten his only chance of having a true mate.
"Why aren't you moving away?" He asked her, folding his arms across his chest, his eyes trained on the window, to give a more dismissive effect.
