"Does Liam know about this yet?" Kaden asked Casper and Lent as he watched with sorrowful eyes at a Micheal groaning in pain under Jiraq's ministry on his body. Apart from being a scientist, Jiraq was a good doctor.

"Not yet. He is still working on discovering the attackers. Should we inform him now?"  Casper inquired and Kaden shook his head.

"No, it will kill his focus. We need to allow him to find the attacker first, or at least get some clues. That is the best way we can get revenge for this." He said, gritting his teeth as he read aloud in his mind the two words that had been branded on Micheal's chest.

The action word was in a past tense, and it made him wonder if another deed related to burning had been done already that he didn't  know about.
