Gods Among Men. 

Or, at least that's what happened when the clock struck 12 on a certain day, as a notification popped up in front of everyone asking them to spin the wheel to receive their [Legend] - where they'd either get a [Mortal], [Demi-God] or [God]. 

Enter Arthur, a 25 year old man and someone who's had to look after his little sister ever since their parents died. Many times, he's asked for a break and now that it looked like God had finally answered, his bad luck decided to show it's hand again by giving him a [Mortal]. . .while his little sister became a [God].

Woe is him. . .if he hadn't noticed his glitching screen, asking him to spin the wheel again. Now, what on Earth is this [Conceptual] rank, and who the hell was this Aether guy?

Now, with his body tense and alert, Arthur braced for the impending clash. The name tag above the creature taunted him with its ominous words: [Ooze Level 5] [Death-Elemental]. It was a formidable opponent, far surpassing his own Level 1 capabilities, but Arthur refused to back down.

And, after a moment's breath, the battle began. The Black Slime attacked first, flailing two tentacles at Arthur this time.

But, with newfound agility and reflexes that surpassed his former human limitations, Arthur deftly sidestepped the Black Ooze's flailing tentacles. He moved with a fluidity that he never thought possible, each motion calculated and precise. The surreal nature of his new abilities struck him, and a wry smile played at the corners of his mouth.

"Whoa, this is some next-level freakshow," Arthur muttered, his voice tinged with a mixture of awe and incredulity.
