Forgive me

"You made Grandmother angry, besides where were you?" Mark asked mockilly.

He folded his arms and looked at the embarrassed Rose.

Her face turned into a scowl, a frown settling on her face. She lightly scratched her hair playfully, trying to see if the old woman would give in.

"Good Afternoon senior" A voice rang in the mansion. All eyes went to the door and behold a woman stood holding a purple gift in her hands.

"Mom" Lia muttered slowly, trying to cover her face so her Mom wouldn't see her but it was of no use. Her Mom was literally standing at the main door which was leading to the main gate entrance. So obviously her Mom had already seen her.

Could her day get any more worse today. She was still annoyed about the guy who bumped into her at the mall.

Geez

Katherine eyes settled on her daughter the whole time even as her eyes scanned the people and the mansion completely.

'Oh, you're in big trouble today' Katherine thought to her self. She gracefully walked to the group of people.

"Good afternoon aunty"

"Good afternoon aunty"

Rose and Anne said together, waving at her happily.

"Afternoon girls, Hi Mark, How are you doing Sophia?" Katherine greeted. Mark responded with a nod while Sophia returned her greetings with a smile.

"So...you finally came. I thought you were not going to come as usual" Lady Ruby said, lazily.

Katherine happy smile turned into a frown instantly. The Old lady still remembered that.

"But it was one time" Katherine pouted showing up a finger at her.

"And the second time I clearly came but they said you were not around!"

Unknown to them someone was silently praying for the matter to not escalate.

She did not know whether to laugh or cry at her pitiful situation now.

"Who said?"

"The Butler"

As soon as his name was called, he slumped to the ground taking heavy breaths enough to choke him.

"Alright, I've heard we'll solve the problem later but now let's eat. Am vamished." Lady Ruby announced. As they all went to the dining table.

All of them was sitted on the table chatting happily like one big happy family.

"Grandmother, don't feel offended but who was the guy that left a while ago" Anne said, cleaning off her mouth with a tissue.

"Oh"

"He's one of Alexander's colleague son, I want to introduce to Rose" Rose who was drinking her pineapple juice blinked her eyes until

A sound of chocking filled the room. Mark who was sitting close to her , by her left quickly passed a glass of water to her.

"Take it easy, don't you know chocking might kill. It's harmful and dangerous, don't always behave like a glutton everytime you see food or dessert." Mark whispered to Rose, while gently rubbing her back.

"Roseline are you okay?" Sophia asked.

"Yes,am fine" Rose gritted her teeth, trying to control the anger of strangling her older brother which she couldn't.

"Okay"

"But he quickly left saying it was important" Lady Ruby lazily continued as if nothing had happened.

"Am done" The Old lady said finally

"Try to meet him, when you're free or go on a dinner date with him" , dropping the fork she used, A loud clutter erupted the dinner as Lady Ruby stood up, heading for the stairs.

Mark blew a long whistle, try to mock Rose. "Someone's finally going to settle down." Mark stood up too, going to his room.

Rose looked at her Mom for help. Her mom simply ignored her by turning her face away.

What could she say when the did has already been done.

'Sorry, I couldn't help you this time'

Rose grumpily faced her aunty. Katherine smiled and said"When you're ready come meet me, I'll tell you tips of what you need to know" Carrying a mini mirror from her bag, she opened it , looking at the mirror and adjusted her self properly.

Rose eyes finally landed on Lia and Anne.

Anne gave her a thumps up, Lia only stared at her, out of words.

Noticing the glances from Rose which was directed to Lia and Anne. Katherine cleared her throat.

"Don't look at Lia, I've already planned a special date for her too" Lia turned her head sharply, trying to hear if she got the information wrongly.

"Mom" She huffed angrily.

"Well, I'll be heading off, I have some important things to take off. Being a celebrity is hard you know." Katherine said, checking her phone for any schedules.

'You're in soup' Katherine mouthed, glancing at Lia.

"Wait-...I want to talk to you for a moment. Please"

"Okay" considering rather she should accept or decline the offer.

The duo stood up, heading to the garden.

"Oh, my. I can't believe it. What did I hear?. The both of you are going on a date. Bu-... What's the use of the Bet" Anne said playing with a rubiscle cube she saw on the dining table.

"Maybe Grandmother is just joking." She whispered.

'I hope so'

Outside the garden, the two ladies were sitting on a bench, sitting opposite of each other.

Katherine observed the blooming Sophia. She was dressed in a black gown, with chain around her waistline.

"What" Sophia asked hesitantly, blinking her eyes at the smiling Katherine.

Was there something on her face.

"No I-

She stopped talking abruptly. She didn't want to say something that will hurt her feelings. " You're glowing"

"Who?, Me?" She asked innocently, not knowing what to say.

"Yes, I won't lie but what are you using. You look so fresh and fleshy. Awwn I can see the changes now" Katherine teased her playfully.

She couldn't deny it, the Sophia she knew wasn't the Sophia now. This one looks so matured and pretty.

The Sophia she knew would cry over small problems everytime, she was still wondering how she caught Alexander's eyes.

"Oh" She muttered amused, by her words. She bowed down her head fidgeting with her nails. A tear drop fell from her eyes, falling on her hand. She sniffed a little, which didn't leave unheard by Katherine.

"Has she forgiven me?"

Katherine gently pushed her hair, putting her hair behind the back of her ear. Sophia gently put her head up.

"Elisabeth?" She hissed softly, cleaning Sophia's tears.

She stood up from the bench hugging Sophia tightly.

"Don't mind. Of course she will. After all what are friends for." She said caressing Sophia's hair gently.

"Don't let things like that bother you. You worry too much silly."

"Bu-.. But she hasn't called for almost two years now. She totally hates me now"
