Gifts

 "Happy Birthday!" Dimitri and Callista nudged a large black velvet case towards me. 

 I nervously opened it only to have my heart sink in my chest. My jaw dropped as I heard Tanya gasp behind me.

"Panthère de Cartier Necklace," Callista smiled while walking over to me, "It's white gold, emerald eyes, onyx spots, and brilliant-cut diamonds. A total of 19.05 carats. The bracelet is just as luxurious"

 My eyes widened even more in shock. This must have been worth a fortune. 

 "I can't accept this," I gasped.

 "Of course, you can," Dimitri smirked.

 Callista put the bracelet on my wrist, the chill from the cold diamonds sent chills up my arm. I held up my hair as the cold heavy necklace fastened around my neck. Dimitri presented a mirror to show me how it looked. I couldn't hide my huge smile. 

 "I love it," I choked. 

 "The white gold and emerald green complement your pale skin and gorgeous long red hair," Callista smiled before giving me a motherly hug. 

 I looked over her shoulder to see DImitri's lust-filled eyes looking back at me, "Stunning."

 "Happy Birthday," Roy greeted me while holding an envelope.

 "Thank you," I smiled while receiving it. When I opened it confusion washed over me, "Keys?"

 Roy nodded with a devious grin.

 "Keys for what?" I clarified.

 "Follow me," he gestured as we walked to the garage.

 Their garage was huge so seeing all these luxurious cars had me in a tailspin. When I realized everyone was looking at me I froze like a statue. 

 "What?" I asked nervously.

 Roy took the key from me and walked deeper into the garage. I froze in shock. 

 "No way," I whispered.

 "Yes," Roy confirmed and tossed the keys into my hands before opening the driver's door.

 "1970 Chevy Chevelle SS?" I gawked while strolling over.

 "Authentic army green and white racing stripes as well," Roy added.

 "Why give me such a gift?" I gasped while sitting inside.

 The original smell of the black leather and waist seatbelts made this entire car so sexy. The radio had a vintage setup but was new and Bluetooth-connectable. The heavy steel frame rattled the car when Roy closed the door for me. I placed the keys in the engine and heard the beautiful rumbling sound ignite from the engine. 

 "You gave me a gift I'll never forget," Roy answered while kissing Tanya. 

 "Thank you!" I smiled. 

 While glancing in the rearview mirror I almost didn't recognize the woman looking back at me: the expensive jewelry, the lavish car, the excitement of it all. 

 "You look good enough to eat," Eric whispered.

 I glanced over at him with a saucy smirk. He pecked me on the lips as I made my way out of the car.

 "Where's my gift?" I teased.

 "I'll give that to you later," he promised.

 I bit my bottom lip while pecking him on the cheek. I peeked over his shoulder to see Callista and Dimitri had disappeared.

 "I'll be right back," I said while walking inside. I wanted to thank them properly for the gift they'd given me. 

 "I'm tired of this!" Dimitri threatened.

 "If you leave me I leave you with nothing!" Callista retaliated.

 I froze behind the wall and leaned into their conversation from afar.

 "I'll give you half of my business, You've earned it," he agreed, "Just let me be with my family!"

 "Family?!" she exclaimed. A loud slap echoed after. 

 Startled, I stumbled across the floor. My heels clattered and broke the silence. They both looked over at me as I acted drunk. 

 "Hi," I smiled, "I just wanted to thank you for my gift.

 I strode up to Callista and placed my lips on hers. My eyes were wide open as I looked over at Dimitri. His right cheek was turning red from the slap he received from Callista moments earlier. Why was I becoming angry? I pressed harder into the kiss, latching onto the back of her neck. In an animalistic-like manner, I pushed her back onto the bartop ripping at her dress viciously.
