When we arrived at Zeus's door, he and Deacon greeted us.
"Ivy, Tanya, you made it," Zeus smiled.
"Yeah," Tanya glanced between Zeus and Deacon before looking back at me, "Of course they're related."
I shoved her in the arm, "Bitch, meet them apart and see if you have to same answer."
I ignored both Zeus and Deacon as Tanya, and I walked right past them and into the castle.
"Still the same," I shrugged.
"Ladies," Eric greeted.
"There you are," I sneered while walking past him, "Kitchen, make me a drink and explain to me what the fuck you're doing."
Eric followed but had a tight jaw while doing so. He looked so cold behind his eyes. He walked behind the bear and poured us each a glass of champagne before looking over at me. It was as if he didn't even want to see me.
"What the Hell is the problem?" I asked.
He looked angry at my question.
"You know I'm going to go to my room, and Ivy is going to go to hers," Tanya said, grabbing me by the arm and pulling me after her. We parted ways at the stairwell, and soon, I was at my old bedroom doors. The memories of the night flooded over me, and I felt light-headed.
"I always wondered if you even had a heart," Eric commented from the entrance of the stairwell.
"Fuck you!" I jeered, "What the hell have I done for you to hate me so much!"
Eric marched up to me with a look I'd never seen before. He looked as if he were trying to hurt me. I ran into my room, and he followed after me but froze as I held a candelabra in my hand in defense.
"I don't know what kind of power trip you're on right now, but I will hurt you if you come near me," I warned.
"No, you won't," he scoffed, "You can't hurt me. I'm the one man you can't hurt."
"I've had my fill of men," I gritted.
"You and Deacon of all people," he sneered.
"Why do you sound so aware of it?" I asked, "You don't look surprised at all."
"It was my idea," he confessed. His expression is as cold as ever.
I felt ice run through my veins as I dropped the candelabra. He walks over to me in a cocky manner.
"What did you just say?" I trembled.
"I suggested Deacon go down there to get you back; Zeus can't shut up about you," he bluntly replied, "I suggested he seduce you, get you to trust men again, and bring you back."
"You're lying," I whispered.
The gap between us was closed entirely, and he spoke face-to-face with me. "No, I'm not."
I slapped Eric across the face as hard as I could. I slapped him once more when he tried raising his head back to mine. He threw me down on the fur rug in front of the fireplace.
"Ugh!" I whimpered.
Eric mounted me and held me down.
"Get off of me, Eric!" I hollered.
He forced his mouth onto mine. I grabbed for anything I could grasp. I only clasped the fur rug beneath me, unable to escape him. His hands ripped my skirt from my waist.
"No!" I denied it while trying to kick him away.
He shoved my face down into the carpet and had me pinned beneath him. I felt something hot beneath my back, which made me dry heave; he was trying to fuck me.
"Don't pretend you like it this way," he said while trying to shove the tip of his cock inside of me.
"Fuck you!" I shouted.
I felt his fingers seize the nape of my neck, pulling my head back to his, "That's what I'm going to do."
"Aghh!" I cried as he shoved his cock inside my dry body while biting me viciously on the neck.
Why Eric of all people? All I have left now is Tanya.
