Family Similarities

I quietly left the hotel room before the three woke up from the party the night before. Ariel called to let me know my son wanted to see if he could have ice cream for breakfast. I couldn't resist saying yes, and it made me realize how much I missed him. I needed to get home and clean up for the day ahead. I know I will see all of them again; it's just a matter of time.

"Reign?" I hesitated while walking from the cab. "What are you doing here?"

Reign hesitated, rubbing the back of his neck, uncertain of how he should speak.

"I left last night because the thought of seeing someone else touch you makes me angry," Reign confessed.

"I-I-" I stammered, "You and Dimitri-"

"I did it because you wanted it," he interrupted.

 "Oh," I hushed.

"You fucked them last night, didn't you?" he questioned.

"That's not any of your business," I replied.

Reign turned thunderous and angry, a reminder of who his father was. He kissed me deeply and passionately. We collided into my front door, scrambling to free it from the lock.

Once inside, he threw me into the wall, pinning both my arms above my head; I was unable to move.

 "What?" I huffed.

"Did you fuck them last night?" he repeated.

He's jealous, and this will be fun. The dark voice I hadn't heard in a long time came slithering back.

 "It's none of your-"

He cut me off with a kiss. A vicious, deep kiss that a jealous alpha would only give to mark his territory. The biting of my neck and shoulders, me being pinned against the wall, unable to move, he wanted to assert his dominance.

"Dimitri was in my life before you," I managed to say. "Why are you so jealous?"

His firm, thunderous gaze intensified. "Tell me you don't feel it."

The look on his face said one thing, but his eyes never lied; just like his father, he needed to know.

"Why is it so important?" I diverted.

Reign bit my neck ferociously in response to my defiance. He tossed me over his shoulder and found his way to my bedroom. My body bent to his every desire, and with each thrust, I could feel myself growing wetter and wetter, my hands ripping at the bedsheets in a feeble attempt to flee from his grasp. He meant to punish me for not answering him. He more than likely knew. He just wanted to hear it from my lips. That was something he'd never get.

He flipped me over on all fours and shoved my head into the pillow. This felt familiar, but it wasn't from Reign but from Zeus. He used to do this to punish me when he wasn't getting his way.

 "Wait-"

A hand seized a clump of hair at the nape and my neck, pulling my head back, his mouth on my left ear.

 "Answer me," he growled.

 "Calm down!" I begged.

It hurt with each rough thrust, but the spot he hit simultaneously made it feel so good. My mind was reeling from the pleasure. I hadn't felt like this in a very long time. Too long.

"Is that all you've got?" I taunted.

His hand released my hair and began pounding inside of me so hard I heard the snapping of wood all around me.

"Fuck!" I cried out, "Reign, calm down!"

The wildfire burning behind his eyes never ceased, each thrust more ruthless, each bite more severe.

 "Ahh! Ahh!" I moaned.

I clawed at the bedsheets, unable to crawl away from him.

"Ahh! Aghhh!" I cried out some more.

"Oh, sorry," a female voice spoke.

My eyes widened in shock; I turned around, pushing Reign back, to see Ariel standing in the doorway.

"I'm sorry," Aodhan said, hearing screaming. Ariel trailed off, looking at the two of us on the bed.

 "Ariel?!" exclaimed.

"Right," Ariel blinked herself back to reality. " I'm sorry. We're going to grab lunch. I'll be back later."

 "Mom?!" Aodhan spoke.

"Let's go out for lunch, baby!" Ariel grabbed Aodhan before he could come into the room.

 "Mom?" Reign repeated.

"H-he was talking to Ariel, his mother," I lied.
