The First Quest (2) Glowmoss

The air inside the cavern was damp and cool, wrapping around them like a shroud and carrying the earthy tang of mildew that clung stubbornly to the stone walls. Sporadic patches of Glowmoss lined the uneven surfaces, their soft luminescence painting the cavern in hues of pale green and gold. Each cluster seemed to hum faintly with life, casting shifting shadows that danced with an almost mischievous energy at the edges of their vision. The rhythmic sound of water dripping from stalactites into unseen pools echoed in the stillness, each drop a metronome counting the seconds in this otherworldly space. The cavern's ceiling stretched high above them, a jagged expanse that seemed to disappear into the dark void, while the moss's ethereal glow lent the environment an almost magical allure.
