Fragments of the Past

"Big Bro, why aren't you hurrying?"

Leader's left-hand, Mora, called out to the leader as "big brother".

"Your temper hasn't changed, I see. Haha," the Leader smiled.

"Wait, I thought something smelled rotten, turns out it's you, Magia", Mora remarked.

Magia frowned. "The little miss's temper is still as sour as ever."

"What!"

Ken intervened, placing a hand on Mora's head.

"Can't you just stay quiet?"

"Huh, are you jealous that Big Brother smiled at me?"

"Why would I be jealous of you?"

"Blah blah blah. Big bro, don't listen to his nonsense, let's go."

"What do you mean by nonsense? I'm your brother ."

"Teh," Mora clicked her tongue.

"Hey, you little!"

Ken and Mora began bickering like a dog and a cat.

"Let's go now," Magia called out.

But Ken and Mora continued their squabble.

"I seem to be ignored," Magia muttered, clearly annoyed.

"Let's put an end to this and go, Ken and Mora.

"Have you gathered all the information I asked you to investigate?"

"Yes, Brother/Big Bro," they both replied promptly.

Mora suddenly appeared worried.

Ken sighed.

"Brother Ater, we've discovered something that may pose a threat to you."

"Well, I figured that insane old geezer wouldn't go down easily without leaving something behind," Magia chimed in.

"Let's head to my office," Ater said softly.

He couldn't shake off his sense of unease, knowing the danger that lay ahead.

Soon, he would uncover long-buried secrets of Zamia.
