YOO-MI’S POV
The next morning, I was back inside Josh’s room and Jeonghan was out to grab some foods at the hospital’s cafeteria. As I glued myself onto the chair beside Josh’s bed, Yeri’s eyes glued at me too but I didn’t look on her way even once.
I only want to be with Josh and it’s like that I couldn’t be away from him even just for a moment.
I held Josh’s hand in mine, caressing it. “Josh,” I whispered. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry that you were hurt because of me, that you would have to go through all of this saving me.”
I heard Yeri scoffed but I ignored her. I watched Josh sleeping, his chest heaving up and down in a steady rhythm.
Then I felt a small movement inside my hand and my heart thudded. Josh eyes furrowed, and I immediately leaned closer to him.
Yeri ran towards us and stopped at the other side of the bed, leaned closer to Josh too, her eyes glared at me.
“Yoo-Mi,” Josh whispered, calling my name, his eyes still closed.
