Once upon a time, there lived a very beautiful mermaid under the ocean. She was named as the Ocean's Gold in their kingdom because of her hair and tail shining, shimmering with gold. She has the sweetest voice that make everyone fall in love with her every time she opened her mouth and started singing. She has the ability to change her tail into a human's legs when she's on land and turns into a mermaid underwater. What happened when a man who is walking by the seashore accidentally heard her golden voice and fell in love with her the moment he heard it.

Meet Jeon Wonwoo, he always wanted to become a singer but because of his dominant father, he became an actor. He was taking a vacation in their rest house near the beach when he accidentally heard a voice that made him fall in love with the owner. But what if he finds out that a beautiful mermaid owns it? THE OCEAN'S GOLD

I was woken up by a loud scream piercing through the walls followed by a quick lightning flashed on my window and then thunder rumbled. I quickly jumped out of my bed and ran in the opposite room to where Areum was sleeping.


“Areum! Hey what happened?” I dashed towards her and I saw her crying. She was covering her face with her beautiful hands.


“Wonwoo, I’m afraid of the thunder,” she looked up and her tears were streaming down her face.


I pulled her into a tight hug as I brushed my fingers over his golden hair. “Sssshh, it’s okay, thunder won’t hurt you.” I whispered.


We stayed in this very awkward position, cuddling with her, continuously caressing her hair down to her spine until she fell asleep again.


What are you doing to me Areum? It wasn’t supposed to be like this. I wasn’t supposed to feel attached on you, to care for you. Oh God, I never did this to anyone in my life, and to think that I was doing this to a mermaid.
