I opened the front door using the key and found the house in eerie silence. Even Luna wasn’t around. She would always come and meet me even I went home late. I motioned Mingyu to stay quiet and I cautiously tiptoed climbing upstairs, making the pin-drop silence.


Normally, when I got home, I’d threw each of my shoes in two different directions before tossing the keys on the dresser.


I opened my room and I noticed Mingyu still following me. “Why did you follow me here?” I whispered. “There’s a room downstairs, you can stay there.” I said irritably. I was like in an ASMR video trying to stay quiet.


“Why’s Areum sleeping in your room?” Mingyu whispered back as he shifted his eyes on me from peeking inside my room. “Are you two sleeping together?”


“No! It’s not what you think idiot!” I pushed him away. “Just sleep in Areum’s room, goodnight!” I slammed the door closed on his face with a soft thud.
