“I-uh,” Uno paused running his fingers over his face and continued. “I wanted to apologize for today. I-I couldn’t show you around. I wanted to but—“
“But Kate’s locked you in her hold?” I said, interrupting him. “What is she to you?” I asked. It was so sweet of him to say sorry about today but I wanted to get straight to the point.
He didn’t look taken aback by my question. It was almost as if he expected it.
Taking a deep sigh, he murmured. “It’s complicated with her.”
“Tell me baby, I have all the time.” I replied.
He took a deep breath and started talking. “She was my first friend in Uni. She showed me around, introduced me to a few friends and all. We got really close. She was the best of the best friends I had ever encountered. But all of that soon changed.”
His eyes looked up at me and all I could do was stared back at his golden brown eyes.
