Chapter 10 BEST NIGHT?

Samantha’s POV

“No, Migs,” Trish said in a sweet tone. “We were just talking about you not showing up last night.” She rolled her eyes and went back to eating her lasagne.

“I’m sorry…” Miggy mumbled. His cold glare stayed on Trish then turned back at me with an apologetic smile.

I nodded not looking back at him.

Unlike Trish, I just could not focus on eating. My mind kept drifting towards Caleb and our night together. He had been so…so…I was running out of adjectives to describe how much of a spectacular lover he had been.

Turned out experience does matter, and Caleb seemed to have a lot of it. He certainly knew his way around a woman’s body. If anything, last night had finally fulfilled my desire to be with a real man.

So deep in my thought, I hadn’t noticed that Miggy was saying something to me, and now he and Trish were waiting for my answer, looking at me with a frown on their faces.
