Chapter 132 PARANOID

Samantha’s POV

My head throbbed as I began to wake, feeling like I had been hit by a truck a few times. I shakily pushed myself up from my position on the bed, leaning against the headboard behind me as I brought my hand to the back of my head.

“Oh my God!” I cried as I remembered Caleb. He was probably worried sick, waiting for me to come home. I didn’t know how long I’d been here but I was sure it was at least the next morning.

Footsteps from outside the room caught my attention as light suddenly filled the room. I shut my eyes on instinct before forcing them open, blinking a few times to adjust to the sudden contrast.
