“Please be my date on Saturday night’s party…” Mr. Easton Gonzalez said after submitting the report I had written earlier. The yellow folder he was handing me back hung in the air as I stared at him in shock.
"Excuse me?" I shrieked, my gaze fixed on his. "I'm not going on a date with you!" I exclaimed, glaring at my boss.
“Don’t worry Miss Bell, it’s a fake date…” my boss informed me and I felt like I was splashed with cold water on the face.
Easton Gonzalez, the CEO of Gonzalez Steel Manufacturing and Industries asked his personal assistant Chloe Bell to be his fake date on their company’s Silver Anniversary to annoy and upset his ex-wife who cheated on him with his best friend. He chose Chloe out of all the girls around him because he knew Chloe wasn’t like the other girls who were crazy about him.

Easton and I were strolling along the beach when all of a sudden, he grabbed my hand and took me into the water.


‘‘Hey!’’ I laughed as I pulled back just as my shoes were about to touch the water. ‘‘Don’t you dare do that again!’’


‘‘Or what, huh?’’ he challenged me and attempted to pull me again but I ran away from him, however, he used his foot to kick the water at me, making me drenched from head to toe.


The sensation of the cold water on my skin caused me to let out a loud squeal, and I noticed that the thin fabric of my shirt was now clinging to my skin. ‘‘Easton… I'm going to kill you!’’


But he was just laughing there not caring how messy I was now because of him. His eyes lowered down to my chest and I followed his gaze only to find out that my bra was on show. The white t-shirt I was wearing became see-through because of the water that was now soaking me.
