CHLOE's POV
‘‘Any problem…?’’ As soon as we got off the elevator, Easton questioned me while proceeding to open the door of our room.
‘‘Problem?’’ I laughed it off. ‘‘Oh… it’s nothing! It’s not a problem that you told everyone that I’m your girlfriend, even if they’re aware that you’re still married to Rosie. And they’re apparently under the impression that I’m your mistress. So there shouldn't be any problem here, Easton...’’ I said sarcastically as I glared at him and grabbed the handle of my luggage, which was already placed in the doorway.
I walked past him, but he grasped my hand and stopped me from moving.
‘‘Chloe, I’m sorry, okay…?’’ he said in a low tone. His eyes were so soft and pleading. ‘‘I didn’t mean to---’’
‘‘You could’ve just informed them that I am your personal assistant…’’ I said, yanking his hand away and eventually entering the suite. ‘‘We can’t just pretend every time in every place we go that we’re dating because Rosie is not always around.’’
