"Excuse me?" I shrieked, my gaze fixed on his. "I'm not going on a date with you!" I exclaimed, glaring at my boss.
“Don’t worry Miss Bell, it’s a fake date…” my boss informed me and I felt like I was splashed with cold water on the face.
Easton Gonzalez, the CEO of Gonzalez Steel Manufacturing and Industries asked his personal assistant Chloe Bell to be his fake date on their company’s Silver Anniversary to annoy and upset his ex-wife who cheated on him with his best friend. He chose Chloe out of all the girls around him because he knew Chloe wasn’t like the other girls who were crazy about him.

Easton made the decision to check out at Serenity Hotel right away after we arrived, and gathered all our belongings before we left the place. Easton was disappointed that he didn’t see Tony at the hotel premises, thinking it possible that the old man heard about what took place at the conference meeting through Rosie and made the decision not to come along when we left his hotel because he knew what Easton could do to him.
