Chapter 86 FORGIVE

CHLOE's POV

‘‘I planned to call you sometime in the next couple of days…’’ Jasper looked up, locking eyes with mine, but I tore my gaze away from him. ‘‘But I wasn’t sure if you’d take my calls.’’

Of course! Why would I even want to talk to you!

‘‘The last thing I wanted was to talk to you…’’ I said.

‘‘Chloe!’’

‘‘Dad! You have no idea what he'd done to me!’’ I yelled out loud, suddenly lost my temper when dad shouted at me.

‘‘So, what exactly did he do to you?’’ Dad asked, his intensely focused stare was not on Jasper but rather on me.

‘‘Why don't you go ahead and ask this jerk?’’ I gave Jasper a homicidal gaze, and it appeared as though his eyes were filled with panic. He shrank back in the face of my rage, and fear appeared to be flowing out of every pore in his body. He most likely was taken aback by the fact that I would speak to him in such a manner in front of my parents.
