‘‘Please don’t tell mom and dad about what happened Dustin...,’’ I said to him, but I didn't get a response. When I looked up, his brows were furrowed like he was in a deep thought. ''Dustin...'' I shook his arm and he snapped his head to look at me.


''What?'' he asked as we continued to walk towards the house.


''I said don't tell mom and dad what happened tonight. I don't want them to get worried especially dad...'' I am confident that I can find a solution to my problem on my own without them interfering.


''What are you thinking?'' I asked when the expression of his face didn't change. I don't want to think that he's planning something without my knowledge. I also want to know about it.


''Oh, nothing...'' I knew he was lying, but I just let him. I know he'd eventually tell me what's running in his mind.
