‘‘I’m glad that he finally gives up!’’ Leah exclaimed as soon as I walked into my room which was where she had been hiding the entire time while I was having a conversation with Mr. Easton Gonzalez. ‘‘Did he go home?’’


‘‘Yeah…’’ I gave a little shrug of the shoulders. ‘‘He promised that he wouldn't trouble me anymore...’’

The door to my room suddenly slammed open, which caused both Leah and me to jump abruptly, startling us both. When I turned around, I saw Santiago, my personal driver, running into the room out of breath.


‘‘You scare the hell out of us, Santiago!’’ Leah shrieked and ran towards him with the intention of slapping him on the back of the head, but he quickly sidestepped to avoid her.
