I was in my office reading some documents when I observed that there was something in the report that didn't seem quite right. I didn't waste any time and called Mr. Reed, the head of the auditing department, right away.

‘‘Good morning, Mr. Blakely…’’ the middle-aged man answered the phone in a cheery way. He was in a good mood this morning, and I was wondering why, while I was in a foul mood for almost a week already because of Felicia. ‘‘What can I do for you, Sir?’’

‘‘Mr. Reed, I need you to come to my office right now, and hand me a copy of your audit record. I want you to send some of your internal auditors to the materials department to conduct a surprise audit with them! I discovered some inconsistencies in the reports that your members submitted!’’
