Tom didn’t flinch once with my narrowed gaze at him, instead he looked at me with the same smile but this time with a little humor in it.
“Have you ever heard the myth where people said God distributed the brain to the people, Amy??”
I nodded my head, not knowing where this conversation was going.
“Sadly, you weren’t in that line, Amy, but I was….” He smirked, a wide grin spread on his lips until I realized he was mocking me.
Angrily, I threw a nut at him.
“That wasn’t funny…”’
“People could have dinner with friends, this isn’t something scandalous, and nor am I such a famous actor that people would start following you from now on…
Come on, Amy…
This is quite a normal thing.”
He spoke with such ease, and it instantly made me realize how stupidly I was behaving.
Because basically in the past an ordinary thing didn’t happen to me, everything was always scandalous and over the top with Derek.
Shaking away his bitter thoughts, I returned my attention to Tom.
