Sensing my gaze on him, Tom turned his head to me, his eyes met mine and I saw the trust in them.
“No, except for me, no one holds the key.”
Tom told him firmly.
And then his hand rested on mine as he gave me a squeeze in assurance and I sighed in relief.
He didn’t know that this small gesture of his had increased his value in my heart.

“Thank you.” Once we were out, I thanked Tom gratefully and in return, he gave me a warm smile.
“Come on, Amy,
Do you really think I would doubt you, ever… Hmm??”
“But what if…” I started to get guilty, maybe I kept his keys carelessly when he interrupted me.
“Amy, you will ever betray me, that thought would never cross my mind, never ever.”
In a most dramatic way, he held his hand up as an assurance and I couldn’t help but smile at his goodness.
“Why are you so good, Tom?”
“Don’t know, ask my mother what she has fed me…” He joked with a wink and I burst into laughter.
HA … HA
“So, what will happen now?”
