Chapter 162 Judgemental People

“Yes,” In a cold tone, I greeted Elsa, and it took her a moment before she replied to me.

“Derek, where have you been?” Elsa asked, worried.

I couldn’t help but raise a brow, if by any chance she had been visiting my place. Or keeping an eye on my office?

Recently, Elsa’s involvement with everything I do has started to make me suspicious. Why has she started to appear more interested in my life??

As I have already cleared the air to her regarding our relationship, she must not carry any new hope now, because I am going to shatter it for sure.

“Busy,” My one-word answer made her realize my indifference to her because she took a long pause before she spoke up again.

“Uhm, I just needed to remind you about the dinner tomorrow,” She gave me a reminder, and the refusal was at my tip when she added.

“Grandpa asked me to give you a reminder about it,

He didn’t want you to miss it, Derek.”

And that nearly made me scowl at her.

“Fine, Elsa, anything else?” I asked indifferently.
