Chapter 6 Stalking my Erasthai

Alexander’s P.O.V.

I was pacing forth and back in anger, as I was humiliated by my Erasthai. I had imagined thousands of different scenarios where I would meet my Erasthai over the course of a thousand years, but this wasn’t one of them.

She was already mated and had a bastard child with her. Moreover, she wasn’t happy to see me. Goddess couldn’t be prejudiced against me to bless me like this.

No one, I repeat no one, ever dared to raise his voice in front of me, let alone deny my authority by refusing my direct order. She did this so easily and even cursed me to go to hell.

The King in me was so offended that he wanted to kill everyone, and a lover in me who was born shortly after seeing her was praising her for her attitude. Cherry on top, Darren was with my lover’s side, and glorifying her actions with him.

“Our Erasthai is strong, she is our equal.”

“She is impolite, offensive and has no manners. She is not worthy to be my Queen.” I reasoned with him.

“She showed you your place, Alex. Accept your mistake, you were wrong.”

“I am not wrong. I will not accept her with that child ever.”

Darren growled in response, “You are not a monk, Alexander. You’ve bedded countless women regardless of my opposition.

If you could be a father without her, you would have fathered thousands of pups.” He showed me the mirror of reality.

“But she insulted me and then slapped me too.” I complained weakly.

“You were in need of an instant dosage, Alexander. Any mother will do the same if you threaten to harm her kid.

On the bright side, think what kind of great mother she’ll be for our pups.”

He continued admiring her nonstop, and that was how my inner King lost this battle.

I decided to meet her again and apologize to her for my previous behavior. I went to see her, but ended up following her like idiots.

My inner guilt made it impossible for me to face her. I had never apologized to anyone before because I was always right. So, I practiced in front of the mirror countless times.

But every time I saw her, all my practice went to hell, rendering me speechless. I saw her working freely in the café, smiling at strangers, which made me feel dejected. She was so happy without me and here I was, burning in hell of jealousy like she said.

I had observed that when we found our mates besides lycans, they also turned into lycans even if they were humans. But my Erasthai was not showing any signs of transformation.

She wasn’t even able to sense my presence through my scent!

This could only mean that she got so angry that she rejected me from her heart.

No!

The thought of rejection shattered me, Darren went into a state of deep sorrow and I drowned myself in liquor. I was drinking for hours in the darkness of my study when Elijah stormed in and shouted.

“Are you going to give up so soon, Alexander? I wasn’t expecting this from you.

You are a King! Remember?

Be a man and go talk to her before your Lycan dies of your ‘self acclaimed rejection’.”

I pondered over his words for a while, and a realization hit me.

“You are right, Elijah. Jasmine can’t deny our bond. There’s no rejection in us like werewolves. She has to accept me.

I am going to mark her whether she likes it or not”.

Elijah came forward and hit me on my head. “Women are gentle creatures, you fool. Show her your heart and treat her with love.

She’ll come with you willingly.”

Now that was a difficult thing to do, how was I supposed to show her my heart when I was speechless in her presence?

I was thinking of a solution when Darren, who was extraordinarily excited after Elijah’s suggestion, gave me a proposal.

“Go to her and leave everything to me. I’ll convince our Jessy. I’ll show her our love, then she’ll not be able to live without us.”

“But you scared her last time.”

“You messed up more than me, Alexander. There’s no time for useless reasoning. Let’s go claim her.”
