In my desperate attempt to break free from invisible net, I saw Elijah coming towards me. Delilah, the witch, I hadn’t seen after Cyrus’s abduction, was with him.

“I told you that I’ll be able to track her when she’ll shift. Here’s your Queen, Elijah. Consider it my last favor for you.”

Elijah, who hasn’t recovered from shock, asked her in confusion.

“Her Highness should shift into a Lycan, but it’s a Wolf. Are you sure you didn’t make a mistake?”

Unable to say anything, I growled at them. Ginnie was disturbed after seeing Alex’s condition and they were hindering her from rescuing him.

Delilah crouched down to pet me.

“Shift back, Wolfie. Think about your human form and concentrate on it. Your mate is in trouble. We just want to help you both.”
