Chapter 21 Beta\'s Quest for Evidence

From the last fifteen minutes, Beta Ashwin was reasoning with Alpha while He was silently busy in his work.

“Are you really not going to do anything? Come on Nathan! You are better than this.”

In the heat of the moment, Ashwin was not a Beta anymore but a friend who was with Alpha from his early childhood. Topic of one-sided discussion was Alohi, he wasn’t ready to accept that she had committed such a crime. He called Neil too as he was in college and Alpha prohibited his return till graduation but still Ashwin thought that Neil's interference will solve this issue but in vain.

As Alpha was continuously ignoring him, he closed his laptop to gain his attention.

“Are you even listening to me?”

He gestured towards his ear pods. Alpha sighed and removed it from one ear.

“I use them to save my ears from permanent damage. You were too loud before.”

He tried to open his laptop again but Ashwin stopped him, placing his hand over it.
