After contemplating for a long time, Alohi sorted out that her feelings were the main issue in the whole contract thing.
She wasn’t supposed to love Nathanial, let alone having expectations of any kind. Jenna noticed her mindless punching during practice, so she asked.
“Is anything bothering you, Luna?”
The whole Pack was still curious for Alpha’s yesterday’s behavior, but no one had the guts to inquire about their personal matters.
“Do you ever feel scared of anything?”
Alohi’s vague question confused her trainer. Being a warrior, Jenna spent her life destroying threats to the Pack, so fear was something foreign for her.
“I don’t entertain fear in my life. My duty demands me to be prepared for any tough task.”
Jenna alerted eyes darted from one corner to the other, as if a ruffian would emerge from the concrete walls of the gym.
“You have attended warrior’s training, they must have taught you to defeat the opponent. Tell me about it.”
