“What does he want now?”
Nathaniel read the letter on the way back to the hospital, he found his claim about the elections amusing.
“I have served the Council diligently for the last twenty years, and I was excluded from this important decision-making.
The result of this election is unacceptable, I will raise this matter in the Royal Court.”
“Go on, Alpha Lawrence. You are in the need of an extra dosage from the Alpha King.”
“No! I am the Alpha King.”
Lucas growled furiously, insisting on killing that vile man.
“Focus here. Alohi needs us.”
To his surprise, Alohi was sitting on the hospital’s bed, waiting for him. Nathaniel sighed in relief, his tightened nerves relaxed after seeing her rosy countenance.
“How is Mona?”
“See. Mate is so kind-hearted.”
Alpha’s lips curled up in a gentle smile, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders.
“Her operation was successful. Doctors have shifted her to the private room.”
Alohi removed the cover from her body and tried to stand up.
